Had a wonderful weekend celebrating my boyfriends 21st, the reception team were great and kindly put some birthday banners up for our arrival. Lodge was spotless and exactly what we imagined. Enjoyed a meal in the clubhouse as well, ordered the steak and it was perfect. Thank you

Arrived at the park in the dark, easy code to get key at reception, took half hour to find the lodge but that was our fault. Finally found it and wow!!! It was stunning. Large living area with comfy sofas, lovely fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, one with en-suite shower, one bathroom with huge bath. Decor was beautiful. Outside the hot tub was hot and ready to jump into, made use of this, even in the freezing rain it kept us warm. Lovely location by the river which I could hear she helped me sleep. Had a lovely time and slept well, seriously we all said we would live in this place it was so nice. Towels were provided, central heating and tea and coffee. Only thing missing was either done kitchen roll or tea towels. Will definitely stay again, perfect get away only 10 minutes from home.

Stayed in the Harlech lodge after visiting Zip World with a friend. Ogden park is literally a 2 minute drive away! We arrived 2 hours early, reception advised they would call if the lodge became available before 4pm but unfortunatley didn't get the call. We walked to the local shop Tesco which was 10 minutes away and stopped at a converted church which was now making sheep's milk cheese! 
We got check in quickly to the lodge at 4. The hot tub was warmed up ready to go, we sat in this most of the evening, chatting, catching up and enjoyed been rained on, the woodland scenery added to the peachfullness . The lodge was nice and clean with everything we needed available. To our surprise there was towels on the bed, the reservation from booking.com stated they didn't supply them. 
Staff all round the park including, reception staff, cleaners, ground staff and waitress where all very friendly and approachable. A number of staff asked if we were ok as we walked round the first 20 minutes or something (I forgot where I parked the car at one point🤦).
We ate the onsite bar and grill which was good value for money. Massive portion of nachos for starters then a lovely pizza for main, I wasn't too hungry but they were kind enough to put the left overs in a pizza box to take back to the lodge, which I warmed up in the microwave later that evening! 
Couple of downsides, the decking was very slippy when wet, a couple of the jets didn't work in the hot tub (majority did work), the hottub isn't overly private with 2 other lodges near by (putting the cover down the side gave more privacy), the big doors seemed to swell in the rain and difficult to shut and the electric fire didn't provide any heat, the normal heating made up for this once turned up though! 
Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this for anyone visiting Zip world or looking for somewhere relaxing to switch off and wind down for a bit. 

Amazing!! Originally booked a hot tub studio pod for one night but wanted to stay an extra night due to a change of personal plans, this was easily arranged by the team and ended up staying in the Riverside Penrhyn Spa with Hot tub lodge. The lodge was stunning and so clean. The hot tub broke on the second day and unfortunately couldn’t be fixed. The team offered us a complimentary meal at the parks restaurant and a change of lodge which was The Beechwood lodge. All staff were so friednly but a Special thanks to Steph for sorting this out for us and Chloe in the restaurant, we will definitely be back. 

We visited Ogwen Bank nearly 20 years ago and loved the beauty of its surroundings. Returning this time it is as beautiful as ever, especially at this time of year with the autumnal landscape. The park is clearly investing money and I would say,  aiming to be more of a high end holiday park. Fabulous new style lodges have been added, many with floor to ceiling windows and balconies making you feel part of the nature around you. 
Our lodge was very luxurious. Beautiful furnishings, super comfy beds, dishwasher, washing machine, huge fridge freezer. Comfy sofa, huge TV (not that you’d need it as so many better things to see outside!) electric style log burner, all add to the comfy, cosy feel of this lodge. The decking has glass surrounds so you have an uninterrupted view of the waterfalls and river right below you. Hot tub was fabulous too again being able to sit under the trees and look out over the falls. A proper ‘back to nature’ feel with a little bit of luxury thrown in!
Great base for walking, biking, or just a quiet stroll along the river bank which runs beside the park. Zip World activities are a stones throw away and beautiful Llandudno about 30mins away if you fancy a bit of the seaside. 
Staff were super friendly and helpful. The Quarry Bar and Grill is the on-site restaurant. The best pub meal I have had for a long time and at a very reasonable price. Lovely staff, quick service, piping hot delicious food, good menu choice. We didn’t sample but looked like a good choice of wines, spirits and cocktails available too. 
Would return here in a heartbeat. A truly beautiful, tranquil, luxurious treat of a place, showcasing the natural beauty of Wales at its best.

I booked to stay in a studio pod with hot tub for my partner’s 40th birthday weekend as we were visiting zip world which is a short drive away. 

The staff were friendly and we were over the moon with the pod and surroundings which were clean, modern and relaxing. The hot tub is a great addition and is fairly private. 

We also visited the restaurant and had a takeaway and a drink whilst we waited. The service was quick and the staff were chatty and made us feel at ease. 

We are only sorry we couldn’t spend more time there!

Stay in 72 pod for 2 people for 2 nights. Lovely little pod with pull down bed. As soon as we arrived unpacked our bags and headed straight to the hot tub which was 40 degrees and bubbling away nicely. Pod was facing the nearby stream and felt secluded. Site was clean and quite. 

Tried the onsite restaurant booked for 6.30 it only had 1 other table with guest but quickly filled up after 7pm. We had starters of chicken wings and garlic mushrooms and mains of fish & chips the fish was huge and steak with peppercorn sauce the steak was cooked to perfection. Finished off with chocolate fudge cake and a cheeky cocktail.

We visited zip world the next day 5 min drive or you could walk through a nearby walk way. Great location for zip world.

I would definitely return maybe next time with my kids and use as a base to travel to nearby activities or just another peaceful break away from the kids!

We came for a 1 night getaway as part of a day trip to Zipworld which is just across the  river from the caravan park. Riverside pod was lovely and clean and felt a lot bigger than it actually was! All staff were very friendly and informative and the park was very tidy though there is some building work going on. Our hot tub was right next to the river and was lovely and warm. There is a foot path on the other side of the river but with the trees it didn't feel too intrusive with people walking past. Restaurant on site was lovely and was quiet but did seem to be getting a lot of bookings for later in the evening. We would definitely return!!

Fantastic break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Able to pause and enjoy the moment.

Perfect night with friend for her birthday

We stayed in one of the small pods with a bed which came out of the wall. The pod was really quaint with all the facilities you could ask for. The room was generally clean although there was a little bit of grime in cracks around the shower and bed which are obviously more difficult to get to.
We loved how quiet the site was and it was well maintained, fresh and modern - our pod was right on the river which was all we could hear from our room and was a lovely view to wake up to.
We loved the addition of a hottub which was clean and really hot. We also loved that the site was dog friendly as our labrador loved the adventure.
The site is really close to Zip World and is close to any amenities which was ideal. Great value for money.

Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful little park

Myself and my best friend stayed in a riverside pod last weekend to celebrate our 30th birthdays and had a great time. Beautiful location, right on river front. Cosy pods, but overall clean and tidy. Couple issues inside the pod - hole punched in bathroom door, bathroom had mould around the shower base and the trim around the main door and window in the top bed area had fallen off and just placed in the corner of the pod but didn’t effect our stay at all was just the aesthetic appearance. The food on site was great, cocktails were perfect, loved it and all the staff were so friendly from reception, grounds staff to the bar staff. Could do with some oven gloves in the pods though as we cooked our dinner one evening then couldn’t get it out the oven easily and burnt myself! (Had to use a towel in the end) would definitely return but I would try another accommodation type. The location map you get when you check in could be clearer too. It’s hard to read and wasn’t sure where the parking was for the pod or where the rubbish bins were located. 

Lovely stay. 

Stayed here for one night. Probably wouldn’t come back but the pod (23) was lovely and clean and had everything you needed for a short break. The staff were helpful - we couldn’t make our original date and they changed it for us no problems at all. The restaurant wasn’t open when we stayed which was a shame but there are a couple of food places within a 15-20 minute drive.

We have just stayed at Ogwen Bank Caravan & Lodge  Park.
Firstly would we return?  ..Yes..

There are good point’s and bad here..

The good first..
The staff are really friendly and helpful and check in/checkout was easy.
The gated car recognition makes you feel safe and secure.
There are some amazing walks from the site and one of the most stunning rivers to walk beside.
The history surrounding  this park is stunning and seeing the ‘old loo’ on site which would have in t’s time just dropped everything into the river will make you smile and realise how lucky we are!
The bed in our lodge as well as the linen was superb and also the up to date modern tv allowing you to continue watching what you had been watching at home.
Hot tub was awesome.
 Supermarket 5 mins away.

Bad point’s..
Firstly it is so so new that construction work  is happening everywhere including right behind our lodge so not the quietest of stays.
This will be a fabulous site to return to when it is all finished.
It is very steep in some places and parking by a lot of lodges was challenging especially with some lodges not having dropped kerbs so if you have a low car you will struggle to get over the kerb.
Our lodge was the new Pine Luxury Lodge with 2 bedrooms and 2 en-suites. The en-suites are incredibly small way too small in fact.
There is not a hook in sight anywhere in  the lodge, Not even 1.
There are no shelves in the en-suites and no cupboards in the kitchen
Cleaning really needs to be checked by someone before new residents arrive as this was not at the level it should be especially after Covid.
Then there is the towel situation or rather no towels supplied situation. Even when the photo of our lodge and hot tub on their website would suggest towels  and footwear included and yet all of the little extra’s that really put the finishing touches on are not supplied here. The photo’s on their website show throws and cushions on the bed towels in the en-suites! The price we paid we expected those special touches and were disappointed.

I know this all sound’s negative and I don’t mean it to, I just tell the truth.I feel these thing’s are all just teething problems and as I have said I would return tomorrow. So please don’t be put off.
