A warm welcome awaits you at this delightful hotel with a park opposite and the river only a short walk away. Their good sized Garden at the front leads to a covered dining area. Upon entering the large and well stocked bar with a range of both alcoholic and non alcolholic beverages with plenty of seating for the inclemaint days. Our room was a good size, the bed was large, comfortable and we slept soundly. The wardrobe also contained, iron and ironing board together with a safe, but still had plenty of room for our cloths A good selection of drinks and snacks available from the mini bar. I especially liked the fresh water available daily, it was a nice touch. Our bathroom was a reasonable size, with shower, toilet and washbasin plenty of towels and spotlessly clean. After a good night's sleep the choice for breakfast can leave you set up for the day. The hotel is well situated for days in Central London and beyond. Twickenham Railway Station is walkable for those of us who are reasonable mobile with frequent trains to London or Clapham Junction with connecting trains to the southern counties, including Gatwick Airport. After a day of sightseeing, shopping or visiting the various London landmarks , there is nothing better than a glass of good beer or wine, together with some excellent food and this pub will certainly not disappoint. Friendly and attentive staff serve you and help make your stay enjoyable and wanting to return whenever you are next in the area.
