Tides Reach Guest House

Our first ever Wales visit was spectacular. Being from the U.S. we combined this with a London visit. Renting a car at Heathrow it was an easy 3 hr drive. (Months ago our research had us zero in on South Wales and Tides Reach Guest House due to the location and great reviews). Free parking just a few steps away and directions are emailed prior to arrival as well as key lock box info for late arrivals. From the moment we arrived, Metin indeed treated us like “a guest” as opposed to a faceless number you feel like at large corporate hotels. He is a “hands on” owner available for great tourist advice on the area (day trip to Rhosilli Bay and 3 Cliffs Beach were incredible!) as well as at breakfast service. Speaking of that, the system in place for that is smart, efficient, tasty and served in a spotless comfortable dining room (pictured) with front facing windows. (Served between 8 & 9:30 am in a relaxing and at a perfectly timed pace). Speaking of view & location, our room (#5 top floor) had a spectacular view of the bay and pier in the distance. Quieter than being in the center of town but a very easy walk; we walked to dinner 2 nights and as far as the pier/ferris wheel. Safe and lots of pictures to be taken along the way. I could go on further, but I think you get the point, we are so glad we stayed here and would definitely stay here if we ever make it back to South Wales!
