We loved our stay in the paddock. Dave was there to greet us when we arrived slightly late. He didn't even batter and eyelid and was very welcoming. We was greeted into the lodge with added extras as it was my partners birthday. It was so lovely and romantic. A few hours in the hot tub at ni extra charge was just the best. Thankyou to dave for letting us stay, we cannot wait to book again but for a little bit longer, it was perfect 😍👍

Found this little gem of accommodation on Airbnb. The couple whose property it is are lovely and very welcoming. I felt at home straight away.

I stayed in the ‘Pod’ which is advertised as bring everything you need to camp minus the tent but which provided much more!  It was very cosy and perfect for my relaxing weekend away.  There was a little fridge, a heater, kettle etc. The fairy lights on the outside veranda were a lovely touch and made sitting outside with my glass of wine all the more pleasant. 

It is a great location for anybody who loves the beach as it is only a short distance to Freshwater West where my dog and I enjoyed some lovely walks. 

I would happily return to this property again and next time may try one if the little cabins there as they are en-suite which the Pod wasn’t (although you do have use of a shower and toilet in the main house).

I have just stayed in the Eco pof on the paddocks grounds and have to admit I thought it was fab!! (This coming from the most un outdosey person) it's very basic and your not greeted by anyone, but it does clearly state it is an help yourself venue!! Loved the chickens and pigs added an extra touch to the venue!! For the price you pay youd have a cheek to grumble!!

The owner was friendly and came to greet us upon our arrival. Although, I can understand him wanting to touch up the 'pod' we stayed in with a lick of paint. I feel this may have not been a good idea doing this the same day of arrival. Perhaps, it was noticed more by us as my partner suffers from asthma. The outdoor toilet and shower provided was clean and ideal for camping experience. The pod was basic which we knew at the time of booking, we were provided with a small heater, kettle and fridge which was an extra bonus as we're used to bringing our own kit minus the fridge. We are happy campers and tend to stay in our tent at different locations in warmer weather. 
The location is great, even on a stormy Saturday you are a stones throw away from Freshwater West Beach and about a 15 minute drive to the National Trust attraction The Green Bridge, although check opening times as you must drive through military ground to reach this. We were 30 minutes away from Tenby and enjoyed our sunny Sunday after Storm Dennis here on the dog friendly beach at this time of year. 

During our stay at The Paddock, our dog happily played with the owner's dog for a little while... However, we were concerned about letting our dog roam the grounds with our supervision due to the grounds not being exactly tidy. This was a shame for us as we have visited many places and feel this could be seen as constructive criticism to give the place a bit of tidy, especially due to health and safety if you were to bring young children. The road to the house is rural and have to be careful driving down in your car. Another disappointment was the mattress toppers that had been provided or lack of. They were very worn and torn and to be honest needed replacing, regardless of whether it was cheaper accommodation or not. There was also no path from the pod to the toilet block and even though we stayed during Storm Dennis, a path is definitely needed! I'm not sure if we'd stay here again due to some of our comments about untidy grounds. Although, if we had been able to explore the whole weekend away from the accommodation, we would have only been using the pod as sleeping quarters.

Cheap as chips break

Came here with my family of 14 for a 70th birthday ! What a joke of a place ! I genuinely wanted to sleep in my car it was that bad ! The place was falling down and filthy ! It certainly didn't sleep 14 ! The gardens were a complete mess with not a single footpath to the place was accessible ! The door were broken and only useable door had a good 2 ft drop and with 2 elderly people this wasn't good ! I wasn't expecting much cause of the money we paid but the whole place needs condemning and knocking down ! The owner doesn't care and is not interested at all ! The pod was ridiculous a falling down shed with a mattress on the floor !!!! And no footpath to get there !! Really not a good experience  

Absolute shambles 

Arrived here early August 2015 with a family of 14. First of all it must be the hardest place to find in the whole of Wales and with the cowboy owner who doesnt answer any calls or texts makes it that little bit harder! It has a live military shooting ground surrounding the area, the drive up to the so called cottage makes you rethink if you have took the wrong turn as the grass is that long you can no longer see the sign post. it has a broken down caravan with two unfed donkeys on the road way, the nettles and sharp branches havnt been cut in that long they havce managed to scratch the car down both sides and there is a wrecked shed next to the property with god knows whats inside. 
When we actually decided to get out of the car and check it out as we had no choice of going home it was even worse inside! The place must be no bigger than a small terrace house and it CERTAINLY DOES NOT sleep 14 people, the living area has one small sofa and two chairs, you cant open the conservatory doors you have to use a side door with almost a 3 foot drop, we found a freezer full of meat and sharp objects lying around the house, all bedding was manky, towels were like sand paper, you cannot use the bathroom upstairs as the water leaks down into the kitchen and through the lights, the whole house is wired up in the wrong cable so your pretty much risking blowing your self up, the shower is like standing under a drip and the outdoor bathroom is not even acceptable! 
There is only 2 bedrooms upstairs with 2 double beds and 2 single, there is one bedroom down stairs with just the one double bed. The so called 'POD' outside is nothing what it looks on pictures, the guy had made it him self and done a damn bad job. It includes just a mattress on the floor and a double bed. The walk up there includes being stung by a thousand nettles and if its been raining oh hell!
The one advantage we got was good weather, its just a shame there was no seating outside and the BBQ (rust bucket) handle was hanging off. 
WORST SPENT MONEY THE PLACE NEEDS BURNING DOWN! DO NOT VISIT.

I arrived end of the season to stay at the ecopod!! Ecological ???? Don't think so. We drove on to the yard and turned back - I got scared!!! A fallen down barn was in front of me nothing recycled nothing looking like a environment al friendly place.! Not for me! The view is the oil refinery! So I phoned the owner up and after a discussion he promised not to charge me and we drove home.Never stayed the night never would!! But when i got home I checked my bank statement and he had still charged me. Even when I complained about this he still didn't refund me! Be wary of this man he frightens me!!
