My sister and I stayed for 4 nights in June. 
Our room was very comfortable and completely spotless with everything we needed for our stay. 
Lana and Andy were the perfect hosts, very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. 
The breakfast was 10/10. 
The location was perfect for a walk through the woods to the Eden Project and also close to many beautiful historic villages and the stunning coastline. 
Would highly recommend and hope to return to explore more of this magical place.

What a lovely stay!  Andy and Lana were very welcoming and are a mine of local knowledge.  They were happy to offer suggestions for days out, better routes than the satnav shows, local places to eat etc which was really helpful.  The Penarth is very well located for access to many attractions.  Breakfast was ordered the evening before and was delicious and plentiful.  I was very grateful that they accommodated my need to eat gluten free with special bread and sausages.  Our room was large with loads of cupboard space, numerous electrical sockets (often not the case and necessary for many chargers etc), a comfortable bed and a great bathroom.  The shower was particularly good.  Everywhere was very clean.  We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend The Penarth Guest House.

Me and my better half stopped here a couple of weeks ago. We normally book hotels or caravans when we go away.

I have to say it was an absolute pleasure booking to stay here. No more hotels for us!

For us the acid test of any Hotel, B&B or Guest House is would we genuinely recommend it to valued friends, or anyone else. With the Penarth Guest House the answer can only be a resounding"Yes". 
Lana and Andy provide a warm welcome, their guest rooms are spotlessly clean, well appointed and very clean. The breakfasts are very good too. They are very happy to impart local knowledge to try a make life easier or more enjoyable for guests. We benefitted from it on more than one occasion and were very pleased we did.
When we left it was because our itinerary demanded we move on, there was no overwhelming desire to get away as quickly as possible, quite the contrary.
Would we go back there? Yes, if our travels place us visiting the area again, we will definitely be seeking to see if Andy and Lana have vacancies available.

Had a lovely stay here for 3 nights. Andy and Lana are a welcoming couple who are very knowledgeable about the area. Great room with everything we needed. Small guest house with just 3 rooms which we loved as we wanted a more personal experience. Breakfast was delicious 😋 and most welcome every morning to set you up for the day. We would definitely visit again!

We have just had a lovely 2 night stay while taking our Gran to the Eden Project. Andy and Lana went above and beyond to make our trip special and were so attentive and helpful towards our Gran who really struggles with her mobility. The rooms were comfy and clean and breakfast was exceptional. We could not fault this place or the hosts and would love to stay here again.

Andy and Lana are fantastic hosts and very professional. 
We stayed for two nights to attend a wedding at the Eden project and the location of Penarth guest house is perfect.
Our room was absolutely immaculate with a great view.

Thank you Andy and Lana for an amazing 7 nights stay stayed August 2021. Very clean and spacious room and the view of the sea was nice. Breakfasts out of this world always cooked to perfection fresh fruit salad greek yogurt and honey truely amazing. Central to everywhere we went. Really enjoyed our short stay at this lovely B & B. Lorna and Andy are lovely hosts who provide lovely comfortable, clean accommodation. Breakfast is excellent after a very good nights sleep and nice hot shower. Great .

Unforgettable stay

Amazing Stay

Stayed here in August 2020 for 7 days.Hosts Lana and Andy met us and made us feel welcome from the off. Room was clean and tidy with large shower, bed comfortable with plenty of space for belongings. Breakfast was varied, my wife had smoked salmon and Scrambled eggs and I kept the hosts guessing on a daily basis. Yogurts well... delicious!! Both Lana and Andy helped us with advice on local points of interests, this helped when the weather required a rethink (most days). Would we stay again? That’s a 10. We had really relaxing stay at this guest house.Andy and Lana wonderful hosts , they will go extra mile for you . 
We had 2 rooms upstairs, which was very clean with comfortable beds and beautiful white linen. I was very impressed how spacious was en-suite and with power shower . Breakfast was very good too , nice variety, I loved  their duck pouched eggs and fresh fruit salad.
Don’t forget about location it’s superb, very very  close to Eden Project and Charlestown  .
I will highly recommend  this guest house.

Beautiful stay

We had absolutely lovely stay in this guest house.Andy and Lana excellent hosts , couldn’t do enough for you . We had two rooms upstairs, rooms was very clean, beds  comfortable .I was really impressed by their spacious en-suites with power showers and white crispy linen .Tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms . 
Breakfast was wonderful, everything was set to high standards.
And very important thing it’s location, very close to Eden Project and Charlestown, walking distance from the beach.We definitely will be back .
