As a solo traveler I welcome the warmth of the hospitality by Marjory and Willie who provide a spotless and efficient bed & breakfast! Feel safe to explore the area, knowing they’re there and they are always willing to do their utmost to make me feel welcome! Rooms are lovely and the breakfast is varied, meets any dietary needs and Willie makes the best porridge! 
A cheery atmosphere, with vistas to die for will keep me going back!

We stayed at the Braes Guest House for one night.  We were met by Marjorie who was really lovely and made us feel very welcome.  The room and en-suite were spotlessly clean, and the room itself had tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits, it was well furnished,  but more  importantly had a really comfy bed, which was very welcome after a very long drive,
The view from the lounge and dining area is stunning.  For breakfast  there was a good selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruit and of course the delicious full Scottish breakfast cooked perfectly by Willie. 
I would definitely go back again.

Very attentive welcome, the owners waited until late for us after a delayed flight. 
Be careful, the Google location is not correct, look out for the sign. 
Very clean, a great English breakfast, stunning views from our room and from the breakfast area.

The Braes is a really nice place to stay. I was only there for one night, but hosts Willie and Marjorie couldn't have been better. Willie gave me a lift from and to the spot where I was walking. My room was fine and the breakfast was excellent. The view from the lounge window was stunning.

Lovely kind hosts, who are friendly and considerate. Comfy bed, hot shower and spotlessly clean. Lovely fresh breakfast. 15 min walk from Spean bridge and 15min drive to Fort William. Will definitely stay again.

Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Our hosts Willie and Marjory could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and so satisfying we didn't have to bother with lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and The Braes was an excellent base for our excursions. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

We stayed here for one night prior to climbing Ben Nevis.  The accommodation was immaculate and an ideal location.  We also enjoyed our breakfast before completing our climb.  Would highly recommend this guest house.

10/10! We cannot fault any part of our stay here. The hosts were lovely and the rooms were immaculate, great night sleep to finish off our NC500 Trip! Would 100% recommend this B&B and will be back to stay if ever in Fort William again.

The Braes has spectacular views from the front bedrooms and the sitting/dining area.  The rooms was spotless and enter the surprisingly spacious en suite via a narnia door. Lovely towels to use and great that it had easy to use bedside lights.  Breakfast was at a time to suit us and lovely and fresh. Definitely recommend a visit if in the area.

Stayed mid August for three nights ( two rooms - 2 adults and two kids) and found the location perfect for scouting towards all the local attractions ( Lock Ness, Mallaig, Fort William,  Ben Nevis. Lovely views from the front garden seating, and we enjoyed our late evenings sitting out.
Hosts were great and rooms very clean and well appointed.
Would definitely stay again.

Lovely short stay in a central location

Just had a wonderful 5-night stay here with family for mine and my brothers birthday! Hosts Marjory and Willie went above and beyond to ensure our stay was superb. Felt like friends by the end. Our three rooms were very well appointed, beds comfy and en suites met all our needs. Excellent Covid standards also made our stay feel super safe. Loads of nearby areas to explore whatever your preference (although, watch out for the midges 😆). Couldn't have had a better holiday, and can't wait to visit again xXx

Best B&B for a home from home

Best B&B we have ever stayed in. Both Marjory & Willie are outstanding hosts. They made us feel very welcome  & at home in their lovely property. Spacious & airy rooms, very clean with everything you need. Very good covid standards. As a family we felt safe & cared for. They went above & beyond our expectations. Highly recommend a stay with them. Lots of places to visit within easy driving distance.

Fantastic B&B

My husband booked one nights stay here as we were walking the Great Glen Way. What a super place. We had a warm welcome. The room was immaculate and we felt very comfortable. We stayed in a comfortable double room at the front of the house and had a wonderful view. We were very kindly picked up and dropped of at Gairlochy to enable us to walk the Great Glen Way.  We easily walked into Spean Bridge for dinner in the evening. We had a delicious breakfast and even spotted dear in the garden. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

I stayed here for 2 nights, tired from travel I was made to feel so welcome and relaxed. The hygiene is immaculate, obviously very proud owners. Will definitely stay again, great breakfast too. The view over to the hills is breathtaking, Scotland at its best. I might not have the legs to go up the mountains but can very much sit outside with a coffee and admire the view. Well done to the owners Maj and Willy

What a lovely friendly place to stay

Very clean, lovely and quiet guest house.Had a magnificent view from the window room. Superb breakfast and hosts who went an extra mile to make our stay a memorable one. Also, a deliciously lovely packed lunch was prepared for us as we headed to another destination early the next morning. Definitely recommend! Love from Malta
