Absolutely super. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Pauline and Mike are lovely, helpful hosts. Our room had everything we needed - and more. Bed very comfortable. Good bathroom and shower. Quiet.  Availability of a room where we could bring in food if we wanted to was a bonus as was the utility area with facilities for just about anything we could need. Located in a quiet but central part of Brockenhurst  - so, very convenient for everything.  Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented by Mike.  Good parking. An absolute gem.

Well what can I say. What a lovely place to stay! We found Pauline and Mike so welcoming, friendly and easy to talk to!  
We stayed in Ash room which was actually perfect!  We had a door directly onto the patio overlooking a large garden with our own table and chairs.  Being Oct and a bit wet we didn’t use it but in better, warmer weather it would be perfect.  We had our own bathroom which also had a door into the utility room with washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer etc.  The fridge had bottles of water for us to use.  We had coffee/tea/chocolate  and biscuits in our room and just outside we could replenish those as and when needed.
Rooms were very clean and bed was comfy!  Towels were supplied and if we needed more just ask.  

Breakfast was really good and perfectly cooked by Mike!  Choose whatever you like from the cereal table or go for the cooked breakfast or have both if you wish!  We filled out a form saying what we’d like on our hot brekkie and we would get the same every day unless we asked for something different.  Nothing was too much trouble! 

We did a few trips out and going through the forest was lovely when the animals were roaming around freely.  However, please be aware that animals can turn on a sixpence and change direction walking out in front of you at any time.  We saw quite a lot of people speeding in there and they would have had trouble stopping.  If you want to travel faster use another route. 

The only reason I’m loathe to recommend to friends is in case they book it and we can’t get a room! 😂😂

Pauline and Mike are great hosts, warm and welcoming, and the place full of nice little touches to make your stay easy and enjoyable.

The breakfast was particularly good, with a huge selection of very high quality food (lots of it locally-sourced), and every item cooked to perfection. The portion sizes are perfect, but you can order more if you want a bigger plate.

The village is lovely and the New Forest is spectacular - first time I’d visited either.

Can’t fault this place at all!

Pauline and Mike are great hosts. Rooms are well equipped and very clean. Breakfast excellent.
Great position in Brockenhurst, easy to get around.

Stayed with Pauline and Mike last September and returned this year for my birthday and another 5 days cycling around the New Forest. 
Pauline and Mike are such a lovely couple, very hospitable and can't do enough for you. Their property is wonderful with lovely rooms and scrummy breakfasts.
They have a large outbuilding to keep the bikes in which has a secure lock and is alarmed.
Hopefully we'll return again next year.

Stayed at Meerut for a few days on our cycling break. Pauline and Mike are a very warm, friendly and hospitable couple who made us very welcome. They have a lovely property with great rooms and scrummy breakfasts.

A friend booked this B and B as we had a wedding reception to attend in the New Forest. My goodness did she do well. Spotlessly clean and set in beautiful grounds we couldn’t have asked for more. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. 
Would recommend 100% and hope to stay again in the future .

Amazing ! What a find ! We booked this last year for one night as had a wedding to go to . Sadly wedding cancelled and moved to this year . The hosts kindly allowed us to move to this year and also allowed us to keep the one night . I understand due to covid you can only now book 2 nights or more now . When we arrived we were shown our rooms and how everything worked . Love they provide a fridge  with bottled water in to help yourself . Room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay .Tea and biscuits provided when we arrived and we sat on the patio drinking this . A great night sleep was had and breakfast was lovely . Pre booking the night before . The hosts gave great tips on were to eat etc in The village . We look forward to staying again .

Lovely B+B in a perfect location in the heart of the New Forest. Walks from the doorstep and plenty of good places to eat within a minutes walk. Room was well equipped and I particularly like the outdoor space with table + chairs. Good quality, tasty breakfast. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends + family.

Once again great service even with covid restrictions. Mike and Pauline great hosts could not do enough in these difficult times. Great food and accommodation. Looking forward to next year.Brockenhurst is a lovely village nice people and some great places to eat. Lots of great places to visit on the door step. Highly recommended  Highly recommend the Meerut you will not be disappointed.

I cannot recommend Meerut highly enough. Pauline and Mike are wonderful hosts and couldn’t have done more for us. I honestly felt like I was visiting family, not staying in a B&B. 

The accommodation is spacious and comfy and set in a great location in the heart of Brockenhurst. 

The rooms were well set up and access to the utility room was a great help when needing to wash up a few bits. Breakfast was delicious each morning with a nice variety to choose from.

It has everything you could want for a B&B and I will certainly be going back very soon.

Fantastic B&B!!

Returned to this fantastic B&B with our mum this time. Mike and Pauline cannot do enough to make sure your stay is comfortable and hassle free as possible. The rooms were spotless, the choice of breakfast was spot on as always. This is not our first time here and won’t be our last. Mike and Pauline are like friends to us and nothing is too much trouble for them. We will be returning.
