Was only for 1 night would have liked to have stayed for long period of time as i have started at Fawley till December. Very nice place and 2 minutes from Job.

The room was pleasant and comfortable. I had a lovely nights sleep there. I didn’t try the breakfast as I was meeting friends for a bite to eat instead. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and myself stayed for one night at Walcot House , Denise and Rob made us very welcome , the room was perfect , bright and spotlessly clean , Full English breakfast , which was spot on , thank you we will definitely be staying again 

I have stayed a few times and it’s always great. Convenient, well run and friendly owners makes the ideal B&B.

Great B&B that does everything right. Rooms are good with everything you need. It is located near a fairly busy road but it is also a great location to access the New Forest, the Solent and Isle of Wight. Highly recommended.

Lovely and clean, the breakfast was great

Rob, the owner gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home throughout our stay. We stayed in twin bedroom 4 which was a very clean, comfortable good sized room and en suite. The location is ideal for exploring the New Forest and surrounding areas. There was a very good and varied breakfast menu, more variety than any other guest house I have stayed.The area itself does not have any local pubs or restaurants which didn’t affect us as we had already booked dinner in Hythe and Lymington. Other places are a short drive away

Our motorhome broke down travelling to Fawley for an event over the weekend and we needed very last minute accommodation. 
Walcot House was a 5 minute walk from where we needed to be so absolutely perfect, but their website showed that they were full (like most accommodation in the wider area as it was the start of the school holidays). 
We phoned on the off chance they had something and spoke to the lovely Denise who said they had a small double available with a small en-suite, would that be ok? As we needed to attend the event it was very much ok! 
Upon arrival in the evening we were greeted by the equally lovely Rob.  We were expecting a very small bed, but it was a very good size and the en-suite was absolutely fine too. Both much bigger than our motorhome, so we were very happy.
The room was very clean & tidy and on the ground floor. The breakfast room was right next door and breakfast itself was a joy. Several great choices including gluten-free bread for my husband (who subsequently indulged in a full English breakfast). 
All in all we had a fantastic stay and will not hesitate to recommend Walcot House to anyone!

Good Base to explore

My room was clean and had everything I needed. It was very hot and there was a fan in the wardrobe.
Rob the host was extremely helpful 
My room was downstairs, as I am disabled and at the front, although I could hear the traffic, I slept wel on the comfortable bed. Checkout was at 10.30 after a scrumptious breakfast

Overnight stay

Very nice. Greeted in hallway. Explained about keys & told which room was mine for the night. The room was clean but a little cramped. A normal size single room but 1/3 of it was taken out by the on suit bathroom. The rest of the room forming an L shape round it. Comfortable for a short stay but could be a bit of an issue if stopping as a couple for more than a weekend.

Holbury

I was given room 8 for my stay and due to the 'Covid19' situation', I didn't have to share facilities, so that was a great bonus.  The rooms were very clean, too.

There was an extensive breakfast choice and good quality fresh coffee (not instant!).  Quality of food was excellent.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts.  I look forward to returning.

Good location, welcoming hosts

Had rooms 8 and 9 on the ground floor which share a bathroom.  Was almost like having our own apartment.  Rooms were quiet, comfortable and roomy with ample storage.  Anti bac soap in bathroom so you might want to take normal soap with you.  Hand sainitzer by front door.  Breakfast time is arranged on arrival so you can be socially distanced over breakfast.  Still an extensive breakfast which was served by the owner and not a waitress as on previous occasions.

Another great stay

Rob & Denise who run Walcot house are the most welcoming hosts we have come across. We as a family stayed here for a mini break during the Covid19 crisis and all necessary measures were in place like hand sanitizers and staggered breakfast slots. Their breakfast menu is very varied which is so welcome if you like variety or don’t fancy the full English. Everything is freshly cooked to perfection, including pancakes which my 10yr old eagerly looked forward to each morning. We were in the family room with the en-suite which was stopless, ohh special mention goes out to the most comfortable beds. We would highly recommend this place if you’re within the area.

Relaxing break!

I stayed at Walcot house when travelling for work as a key worker during the COVID 19 crisis, despite the restrictions due to the virus the owners could not have been more friendly and hospitable.

Walcot house is perfectly situated on the edge of the new forest and there are stunning walks accessible from the front door.

The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, the room which I stayed in was very nice with an incredibly comfortable bed and the food was incredible.

I would highly recommend Walcot House for anyone who wants a quiet, peaceful break in beautiful surroundings.

Friendly and Comfortable

We stayed at Walcot House for 1 night before the Stag Fest at Beauleigh.  Room had all the amenities you would hope for.  The bed was super king size and very comfortable.  The owners are very friendly and helpful.  A couple of small criticisms.  The towels and bath mat were clean but had seen better days.  There was some dust and a very large cobweb in the room.  Breakfast was absolutely fantastic.  There is a very extensive breakfast menu the like of which you would expect to see at a hotel not a small B&B.  The owner also made us breakfast early.  We would stay here again just because the breakfast was so good!
