The pub is located in an ideal location with ample parking. The staff is lovely and very professional. I had paid for 2 drinks together and Emma there knew that I had finished my first drink and was proactive to serve me the second one, this shows the attention to detail they have and I would really recommend this place.


Booked into the Hilton night before our flight and we went to get some fresh air outside the hotel. After a 15 minute walk it looked like a nice place to stop for a refreshing beer. Worried as we had a 5 year old with us we had a great welcome ordered couple of beers and a soft drink (which was cheap) went into the beer garden with a great atmosphere alot of happy smiling faces.. We stayed for a few drinks everyone spoke and interacted with and felt sooo at home as if we been there years.. An absolute diamond of a place and cant wait to get back there and got rooms 100% we will be booking there next time.. 3 happy faces walking back home a great evening had.. Reccomend highly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went there for the entertainment. Staff there were very good and very friendly.

Locals made me and my friends feel very welcome.

Defiately reccommend this place to anyone for either food, drink and a giggle.

Lovely little pub. Excellent service. Landlord and landlady very helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend this little pub. Rooms are quaint and clean and tidy. The landlady could not help help enough with the room and food. Food was absolutely lovely and hot and yummy. If you ever want to stay in a welcoming clean and tidy place this is it.

We've stayed at Colnbrook three times prior to an early flight out of Heathrow, and on two occasions have popped into Ye Olde George for a couple of drinks before eating at our favourite Thai restaurant, The Punch Bowl.

On both occasions the weather was beautiful so we sat outside to enjoy our drinks.  

The staff behind the bar have to be the most friendliest, welcoming and chatty we've experienced, especially as the lot of the clientele have to be of the passing through variety.

The only slight downside to both of our visits was the foul language of fellow drinkers who showed complete disregard to any other customers.  Luckily we're not easily offended, but a little thought and decent manners would have earned Ye Olde George a five star rating.

Great little pub

Great place to be.

Got there for evening meal and bed and breakfast. No evening meal for some reason - not explained although they did say I could get a take away brought in!!  No cooked breakfast and no continental box offered as relayed to my PA.

Dark and depressing place and room clean and tidy - but no one there overnight

Business Hotel stay

Booked this place for business purposes over 3 months in advance. Turned up last night to be told at the bar that they did not have any rooms available, and no evidence of my booking - despite me having a confirmation from the well known booking app?!?!?! On further investigation with The best booking app company, it turns out that the pub management had overbooked (I wonder if the fact that Royal Ascot is on this week, and maybe the deal I secured back in April was not quite so lucrative had something to do with this?). 
I’ve worked in the hotel business in my past, and never seen this happen - nor has it happened to me using hotel booking sites. Not to be trusted to honour bookings!!

We arrived at 11am, after a 3.5 hour drive, and was unable to check in as the pub was closed. We left the bags in the car, and carried on into London for our planned day. I rang the hotel to confirm check in time, and was told as long as we're there by 11pm to check in, that would be ok. We got back to the hotel at 10.20pm, and it was closed. We could see lights on in the bar area, so we banged on the door and telephoned, but no reply. So we were left, in an unfamiliar area, with nowhere to stay. We went across the road to the Ostrich (looked lovely, I wish I'd booked there!), but they were full, the nearest chain hotels were out of our price range, we eventually found an alternative hotel in Hayes, and finally checked in at 1am. Before we found the alternative hotel, we were genuinely worried that we would have to sleep in the car. Most stressful start to what should have been a birthday trip away for my other half. I would never ever recommend this unreliable excuse for a hotel.

Couldn't even get in!!

Where can i start . The web photos looked great , modern stylish accommodation in a c16th coaching inn .A Pub with accommodation and breakfast , what more could you ask for Iwas going down for an over night whilst visiting local family .
the sat nav found the place easily enough , which is always a great start , good sized car park and beer garden which would have been nice if this hadnt been December.
But as I walked through the door I had assumed id walked into the public bar rather than reception , I was wrong there is no reception for the accommodation , no register , no sign in , no billing reciept provided. This is the first time in my life that I have ever been asked to pay for accommodation up front , I know its a while since ive stayed in London, but it hasnt changed that much !.
We were led through what could have been the cast of Eastenders including every type of life form human and other that one could imagine. through a bar decorated by Poundland and into the accommodation lobby , this was filled with sacks of rubbish from an earlier christmas party , one could only wonder what the chicken in a basket and 10 pints of Larger crowd that was .
The stairwell was amazingly quaint twisted . exposed beams , low ceillings and hidden steps, loverly and of course the Hoover sitting in its box at the top of the stairs at 4 in the afternoon , no time to put that away. 
We were let into the room and given the key on a novel green fob , the sort of thing you get in a christmas cracker , maybe it was one left over from that party. 
Once in , the room was small, the bathroom tiny, I think someone historically had got so angry with it or jumped from the cold water in the shower , warm took some time , that theyd punched and cracked the panelling in the shower cubicle. Now i have to give credit to the facilities technician for A, getting the loo in such a small space and B. having the bright idea of putting the loo roll holder on the wall so when you sit down its under your left leg, brilliant.
Now I only speak to the room that I and my partner had ( No 3 ) but level, appointed, spacious and quiet it wasnt, being right above the bar , clean it may have been, i darnt look under the bed .
So out we went to see family , came back and that is when we found out two things , 1. the room was not quiet, yes because the bar was below us and the football was on and 2. later when I can only assume was the staff in their quarters next door came upstairs and watched Tv all night . The second thing we found out the room was like a sauna , so both I and my partner had appalling nights sleep due to these facts , Im sorry for my choice of accommodation darling.
Well in the morning we got up and I thought id take one of the bags down to the car and find out where the continental breakfast was served , that being one of the things i believe all accommodation should offer , sorry personal bug bare. Well I opened the door and almost tripped over the boxed breakfasts in brown paper bags that had been put in front of the door overnight . I have no idea what time they had been put the there but the concept of warm yoghurt doesnt inspire, nor does a breakfast bar , a banana a freeze dried instant cooffee sachet ( decaf, in the morning ) and a danish that was so warm and floopy in its sealed cellofaine, that the whole thing could have come from the airline caterers or fell out of a salvadore dali painting , it was however , not I repeat not, a continental breakfast . 
To finish my tail of woe , at no point were we told what to do with the key , given any information about anything , including fire safety and from this point the best and safest thing for most to do is avoid this place unless you really really have to. I made a mistake and as said , sorry darling.
