Had a brilliant stay here for Easter week with Brent Thomas coaches. The staff are all lovely, and go above and beyond, but special shout out to Sharon in the dining room, we had a table of somewhat fussy eaters and nothing we asked for was a problem. Yes some parts of the hotel are a bit old fashioned, but that only added to it's charm, we had a lovely sea view room, which although was small we didn't mind too much because we didn't spend much time in there. My parents had a balcony room and it was amazing, with perfect views of the pier and across Sandown bay. The only issue I had personally and I know some other people voiced it too was the singer/entertainer on the Thursday night was terrible. He tried to be funny and get us to join in but all he was, was lewd, slightly racist and definitely sexist. If he was there again when we come back we'd probably go somewhere else for the evening. Other than that, was a brilliant week, in a lovely hotel. Would 100% recommend.
