To be fair... this was a last min booking due to booking.com screwing up and repaying the whole cost.. however... 380quid for one night for 2? That's a total joke. Not worth 40quid never mind nearly 400. This was allegedly including breakfast... now my friend has coeliac disease (gluten free) and is a veggie. When asked what they could offer her for breakfast, was advised "eggs(?), potato scones(?), tomatoes and some mushrooms if we can get them from next door!" I'm sorry but for 190 quid... you'd expect a bit more. . Considering her "cooked breakfast " was tomatoes and MAYBE mushrooms.. The room we were in 301 I think.. the shower, if anyone has that room, test the shower before you send a child or anyone in. It ranged from scalding hot to freezing cold without any warning. And could seriously have hurt someone. Now, I am not directing this next part at the cleaner, she was rushed by the reception staff, she was also perfectly lovely when reception told me to just sit on the bed when she finished. But, I don't think she got the chance to finish what she was doing and to check the cups in the room, that were stained but came up fine with a wash, or rinse the shower tray as there was hair in it from neither of us. The rooms were VERY dated, the TV had barely any channels, there was no bar, the curtains didn't close correctly and the window wouldn't stay open. Certainly was not worth the advertised price. Wasnt the best experience and the only way I'd go back is for a next to nothing price to check they weren't having an off day.
