We had a lovely overnight stay at this inn. The room was great , very clean , quality fixtures and fittings. Bed very comfortable, quality bed linens. Spacious ensuite , plenty of hot water with good water pressure in the shower. Showe gel , shampoo and towels all provided.  We had a lovely meal in the evening , 3 course special menu was great value.Great breakfast provided in the morning. Team at the inn were friendly and welcoming.  Full of character

We arrived at the “who’d have thought it”, to an amazing welcome. All of the staff was exceptional and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was spotless and welcoming, while we were there we had a meal in their restaurant and again very friendly staff and the meal was fantastic. We will definitely be booking again to come back.

Really nice old pub, great food and beer options, lovely staff, few points in the room that could do with tidying up, but over all very comfortable and enjoyable.

The staff at the property were all amazing. They couldn't have been more polite or helpful. The pub has a great selection of drinks and the food was extremely good, including the breakfast.

Very spacious with lots of character and good food

Matt and the team were amazing, nothing too much trouble, We booked only one night at this wonderfully, charming B&B.....wished we'd booked longer! .We ate our evening meal in the pub and it was delicious. Our room was clean, very comfortable and huge!  Thank you Matt for your wonderful hospitality..... we tell everyone about this little gem!

Amazing, well worth a visit.

Stayed as working in Cornwall just over boarder nice room ,comfortable,had it’s own entrance behind pub with key box (great idea)Pub was very friendly,food great, very good quality and choice Had an early start so they made me up a breakfast basket to take away all included Would recommend It’s certainly off the beaten track!!!Interesting drive to the pub from Gunnislake

A really old pub in a remote part of the Tamar Valley AONB with lots of character. The meal that we had was excellent and there was a good selection of wines to choose from. The accommodation was also excellent and way above what we were expecting for a B&B attached to a pub. The staff were very friendly and made us really welcome. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

Stayed for a couple of nights whilst at a competition in Plymouth. 
What a great find.
Our room was very comfortable and the bed was huge.
Bathroom well appointed.
One of the best things about the place are the staff.
Trixie and Becky are fantastic in the evening and the lady serving breakfast is like a family friend to everyone.
The food is great as well 
Would recommend unless you have a big Chelsea tractor....haha, the roads are very narrow.

Wonderful room  fantastic food

Nice rural location in Dartmoor village.Room nice but small.Cleanliness poor, spiders and webs in corners.Earliest breakfast time 9:00am is too late when you have plans for the day.TV too small, around 19" and smaller than regular computer monitor.No window other than skylight.Room lighting poor.No full length mirror, no shower mat.Toilet not flushing properly.

We stumbled upon this place by accident.  What a great find!  Quaint little village set in a tiny valley with a river running thru it.  Pheasants scurrying about the daffodils. Beautiful.Nice room. Both dinner and breakfast were very good.  The best sausages I’ve had since arriving in the UK.   A great stay.

The staff were fantastic. The property had issues beyond the staffs control. No heating (waiting on a part). Apparently had Gas issues and could only cook certain foods.We did get a small oil heater for our room. The room itself was great. Comfortable and the bed was awesome.Here's a thought, if your going to be dog friendly, maybe a dog bin would be a great addition. Overall we had a nice stay, just had problems beyond our control.

We stayed one night in summer 2021 and we really wish it had been longer! The village is in a valley and is really quiet, the only noise coming from the small brook next to the pub. We ate in the pub on the evening and the food, hospitality and ambiance were all second to none!
Our room was amazing, spacious, clean and had a wonderful shower too.
We were the only ones staying there that night, so we had an excellent breakfast and a chat with the owners mother.
If you are in the area, pop in for a pint, but really I would recommend staying over as well!
