Good clean room. Exactly what you expect.  A room to sleep and be your base between adventures.
Check in was swift and simple. Check out was just as easy.
The veggie sausages at breakfast were prepared on request quickly. We filled up heartily on the full English.
We will stay again.

Very good two nights sleeping, bed and pillows very comfortable.  We needed somewhere to stay central to Newport Isle of Wight and the Premier Inn fitted the bill perfectly. I would certainly recommend it as the perfect place to stay, we will be back! (as Arnie would say)

Great location, great views and great staff! From start to finish nothing was too much trouble! Clean rooms, comfy beds and great food in the Beefeater next door! A really great stay, will definitely return in the summer! Well done Newport Premier Inn

Fast and efficient check in, spacious car parks, really nice staff, comfy bed, tea and coffee top up station in reception handy, nice view of river from bedroom window, beefeater staff and food lovely, only a short walk from hotel to town centre.

Bailey in the bar was excellent, having my drink waiting for me after only being in the hotel for a day showed real attention to detail and exactly what anyone is looking for in a barman. Thank you for making me feel welcome and that what I wanted mattered.

The welcome was warm and friendly, beds were great, had fantastic sleep. Rooms are spacious, room and bathroom lovely and clean. 

We added breakfast to our trip and it was also good. Attentive staff, refilled stations, as much coffee as you need to get going. 

Parking is on site and free. 
We bagged a great bargain on Black Friday and this hotel is super close to family and town and attractions if you are going to then. Well located. 

Clean, comfortable hotel with pleasant and caring employees.
The only downside for us was the short (about 1 mile) walk into Newport by the quays was made very unpleasant after dark because of the terribly poor led street lighting. The council should address this very poor experience issue for visitors to the area.

We stayed here for a few days to see family and on check in were informed our room would be receiving a brand new bed and we’d be the first to sleep in it! The check in lady was very good and explained the process to us and when we returned after being out for the day we had to give it a go and WOW! The old bed was very good but even then WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT!! Everything else fab too, including breakfast which we can never resist at premierinn.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. My room was wonderfully clean and well situated near the lift overlooking the river. The restaurant was very good too with tasty breakfast and dinner each time. They had a good selection of beers and Gins but a shame to see they didn’t have local offerings. I tried one of their ‘B Dawgs’ as it made me chuckle, but it is something I’ll have again and recommend. Would return.

As budget hotels go, you know what you are getting and are never disappointed with a Premier Inn. Far superior to the Travelodge which has really slipped and without good reason as isn't much cheaper.

Slow check in, which is a surprise, however this was because someone was making a booking and paying cash. when I say cash I mean lots of small notes and coins.
Once they had finished, it was a breeze. Car Reg entered onto their system to initate the free parking.
My first night I was in room 101, an omen perhaps, This was by the main staircase and the noise of people going up and down the stairs resonated into the room, all night, 2am. 3am,4am. Where do these people come from?
I was moved to room 108 for the next night and peace returned.
I had breakfast in the Beefeater next door, great selection of food available.

Avoid Rooms by the staircase

The staff at the hotel were polite and helpful and the rooms standard for a premier inn, there was enough parking.
However the Premier Inn policy of one large towel per rooms needs to be changed it is quite ridiculous and we ate breakfast at the neighbouring Beefeater, but although the staff were working really hard, there was not enough staff on, there was about a 5-10 minute wait at reception and a long queue for the food, I have been to other Premier Inn's recently who have enough staff so that you are not waiting another 5 to 10 minutes for your food.  Not the staff's fault but the policy that is wrong.

We stayed here for the weekend as a short break with the hubby. Our room was good and overlooked the river. The beefeater restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner, we had the mealdeal. Parking was good and easy to walk to town. The location was great for sightseeing on the isle of wight and walks to cows. Will be returning.

We stayed at the Newport premier inn for a few days with the kids for the half term. Our room was very clean and the reception was extremely helpful. Breakfast was very good, however busy so glad we booked ahead before we stayed! There was a little valentines treat in the room when we checked in which was a nice touch. Thanks again!
