Had a great weekend stay room was as expected, comfortable warm and night staff ( Kristen & harry) always willing to help even when myself and my wife had a bit to much to drink, plenty of tea and coffee replenishments available at the reception. The hotel it's self is a bit run down and could do with a refurb but over all we love it here.

Excellent stay as per usual, we was upgraded to a prem plus room and it had a fantastic view, special mention to Maria on reception who was delightful, breakfast next door at brewers fayre was very good, we will continue to stay here as the staff at the hotel and adjoining restaurant are very very nice and can’t do enough for you Thankyou

This hotel is very conviently situated right by the hover croft for fast travelling to the Isle of wight, 2 mins from the door and you are 8 minutes from the Isle of wight.

I stay here often and Sunita on reception is fantastic and a true credit to the hotel, the rooms are always clean and kept to a high standard.

First time at this hotel but definitely not the last! We stayed for two nights visiting family living near by. We booked a Premier inn Plus room and it was brilliant and excellent value. The room was clean, bright and warm, the room included upgraded WiFi in the price. Fridge in the room with complimentary sparkling and still water,Nespresso machine with pods filled up on request. On site parking very reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and helpful, meals at the attached Brewers Fayre tasty and reasonably price. Within walking distance of so many places of interest. I'd highly recommend a stay. 

5 out 5 we booked two night stay .we stayed few times b4 . Lovely room boys loved seeing ships go past easy check in mmm maybe put few more tea and coffee sachets in room ok u can get more down stairs so no great hard ship but only two tea bags coffees need more takes 2/3 coffees in morning get my husband shake a leg lol . Can’t wait stay again as u get peace quiet I craved walking further along and fun of amusement rides icecream donuts candy floss for boys and wheelchair friendly added bonus also great place meet up with family for day or two infact cheaper stay there 2 nights  then get car ferry over so handy for day of few days only one thing not sure if it’s were built new sea wall defences but first time been aware of loud whistling howling caused by wind but other wise great nights Kip definitely be back sun time in future

Premiere Inn Southsea is situated in an ideal location,  right next to Clarence Pier / amusements and within walking distance from Gunwharf Quays and nearby to lots of bars and restaurants. 
Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff here were very friendly .. Would thoroughly recommend...

Clean rooms and great views. The interesting bits of Portsmouth and Southsea are all very easy walking from here.
The car parking was really handy and reasonably priced at £5 per day.
The breakfast was pretty tasty and good value.
The staff were very helpful.

Very clean . Breakfast was lovely too . The staff went above and beyond once they found out it was my sons birthday the receptionist found some little gifts of colouring and brought them up to the room to give to him personally . 

Lovely place been here before now better very clean and the staff were lovely and professional location is brilliant will come here again never had any problem with property the food and drinks were great and the staff are polite very friendly.

Excellent one night stay at this hotel. Had room 211 which had a wonderful sea view over the top of the fairground. Was perfect in November but be warned this room would be very noisy in season. Staff friendly as with all Prier Inns. Under cover car park is great value at £5 per night but in season you would be lucky to get a space. Can't understand why people keep complaining about the restaurant being shut, it is made very clear when you book.

Enjoyable weekend

Excellent stay

We are avid users of PIs - we always use them when staying away from home and they are usually conveniently located for us so we are aware of what to expect when staying... however, this was our first stay in one of the new Premier Inn Plus rooms and it was lovely. Some real subtle differences that make a world of difference when staying in a budget chain. These are the extras:
- a small fridge complete with complimentary small bottles of water (1 still 1 sparkling) in glass bottles
- a small Green & Blacks milk chocolate bar which was very nice
- a coffee pod machine with pods
- a nice comfy armchair with footstool
- swivel chair at the desk/workstation
- nice grey décor and lovely stripy carpeting and grey vinyl in the bathroom
- mist free mirror in the bathroom - a complete game changer for me! 
- iron and ironing board - another game changer
- sea view (obviously specific to this PI)
- free access to the Premium Wi-Fi
- the windows open (YAY!)
We really enjoyed this stay - it only cost £49 per night which is amazing for its location - this one can be really pricey in the peak times which is understandable.
Parking is payable here due to the location at a subsidised £7 per 24 hours, the secure carpark is a bit bizarre and could do with a facelift as could the outside of this PI - it's a bit tired and in need of some maintenance but the location is perfect for anyone wishing to explore Southsea/Portsmouth - the seafront is very long and makes for a perfect stroll. It is in the middle of the funfair and attached to a pub that gets very busy in the season but the windows are double glazed and it was very quiet when we stayed. 
The staff were all super friendly and helpful, check in was quick and easy and nothing was too much trouble. 
We didn't use the restaurant for any meals as we have family nearby and went to them. 
We would definitely use this PI again (price permitting).

First time in a Premier Inn Plus Room

Have stayed at a few premier inns around the country and generally never had any issues with them, we went the second week of Easter holidays so wasn't overly busy which was good.

Staff were friendly, some more so than others, some preferred not to make eye contact when you walked past reception.

Location was perfect for a short family holiday as we had access to the car park and the amusements, fun fair and beach, no issue with noise from outside at night, very quiet.

Quality of the breakfast was very good, everything was replenished frequently, and the breakfast staff were very friendly. 

The only issue we had that we noticed as soon as we got into the room was the footsteps coming from the room above us were very loud and the whole ceiling would shake. Unfortunately they seemed to like pacing around a lot, even till 4.30am so the quality of sleep was not great. Place was booked out so couldn't change rooms.

Was thinking to give 3 stars because of the noise above but one negative doesn't out way the many positives.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Premier Inn and had a lovely time away. Despite being very busy we felt well cared for and felt in an excellent location for exploring the surrounding area. The room felt a little tired but it was clean and had everything we needed. We ate in the adjoining Brewers Fayre and felt the staff were excellent! Thank you to all! We would certainly return.

Nice little hotel

Fabulous location. Brilliant pub with kids soft play. Great views of the sea one side and the common the other.  Rooms are typical Premier Inn but not the newest type. Service of the taff was all good.
