This place is a gem. We visited with our little dog and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. We were in Room 10 on the top floor and it was lovely- very clean, nicely decorated and the tea and coffee etc were plentiful and really great quality. Breakfast was lovely too. Massive selection and really tasty. The location is excellent, the only dog friendly accommodation on the sea front, which is a matter of steps from the front door. Portrush in general is one of the most dog- friendly places we’ve visited and Ashlea House really makes it. We’ve paid far far more for service and food that didn’t come close. This is a lovely, traditional guest house. We’ll definitely be back.
