We've just spent a week in the self catering cottage and I have to say that I don't think we'll ever find a place as perfect as this. The view from the terrace is stunning, while you will be hard pressed to tear yourself away from watching all of the birds visiting the feeding station! Ron & Gill made us very welcome and had 'gone the extra mile' by providing some surprise extras for our arrival - cakes, fruit plus some supplies. Add to this the location - Levisham is a beautiful little village with a terrific pub, no more than a 100 metres away - and you have the perfect stay. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful break and can see us returning on a regular basis.
