Came in for some quick nibbles and had the duck confit which came out amazing, fell right of the bone. Great service and are constantly checking up on you to see if everything is ok. Would recommend this to everyone. Kuba was lovely and made my stay so comfortable!

Lovely room in an old inn. Couldn’t do enough for us. When we said would couldn’t make breakfast, we got a packed breakfast made for us to take away.

It has been years since I have stayed away from home and the Antelope was excellent in every way. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable accommodation, great pizza in the evening and a good breakfast. If ever I am in Wiltshire again I shall stay at the Antelope.

Our stay has been easy and comfortable which is exactly what we wanted during this holiday season. The breakfast every morning with a full English has been a great start to the day with coffee and tea. Any questions we had were answered and we have had no drama’s with our stay. Would highly recommend for its lovely hospitality and lovely rooms. FIVE STARS!

Excellent place to stay during Christmas. Room 8 is a 10/10. Simon is a great bloke & car park security is tight. Breakfast is great way to start the day. Birra Moretti, Guinness, Amstel, Thatchers, Fosters and Amstel on tap. Staff are excellent and always put customers first!

A 3 night stay for a cycling weekend.
Rooms were great for the group of 3 of us ( all single rooms ). Loved the shower and the great water pressure. 

Breakfast was superb. Full English and a choice of toast and muesli to accompany.

Ok, the coffee was not what I’d choose, but adequate, and for the overnight price amid a cost of living crisis, it was adequate enough.

Staff were helpful and I took the time to learn a little bit of Ukrainian- which was very appreciated.

Evening food was superb ! We all loved our evening choices and there was plenty of it. Puddings we’re also excellent and plentiful.

For me, I’d definitely go back again.

Nice friendly place, amazing service and lovely food.

Really nice Inn, clean rooms, friendly staff and great value. Very quiet at night even though by main road ! Manager treid very hard to make stay great   Decided to have meal in restuarant so glad we did, dood choices amamzing and a very wide selection. Pies were amazing and portion sizes great!  Chef was excellent also.    Will defintely stay again

Whilst the rooms are a little tired, they were clean and comfortable. The hospitality from the two key staff was fab and the food was excellent! Stayed for two nights and breakfast was lovely.  The licencee could do with tidying up the rear garden as it is the first thing you see if parking at the rear.  A good value stay, supported by two very hard working staff. 😊

It's all good in the Antelope!

There are some terrible reviews of the Antelope on Tripadvisor but we really enjoyed our stay. It is clean and well kept. The service was prompt and polite. My wife was expecting to see a large mouse in the toilet as suggested by one reviewer below but was disappointed not to see this form of mammal life. In fact everything was fine and as you would expect. Our room was comfortable and had all amenities including a fridge. We enjoyed a pleasant evening meal the home cooked Caribbean Crumble being the high point. It seemed to attract plenty of locals for a Friday night pint and/or food, and those of staying from further away.

OK this isn't the most exciting venue we have stayed in Wiltshire (Zeals/Aldbourne/Cricklade) but the only material criticism was Maxwell House coffee for breakfast rather than real coffee ( the rest of the cooked English Breakfast was lovely). 

In short it is a lovely pub/hotel, has decent food, a good selection of drinks and Upavon is a beautiful Wiltshire village, so highly recommended. I am not sure what inspired some of the misleading negative reviews here on Tripadvisor.

It's all good in the Antelope!

The Antelope has its own private parking behind the hotel, 2 mins from reception so very easy with luggage. We were given a warm greeting on arrival and found a super comfortable bed & huge bath in the room, which was very clean and quiet. We had a great night's sleep! Very good breakfast and very helpful service as we were seated outside the main dining area. Very dog friendly, treats provided, lots of water bowls! We enjoyed our stay & will return if in the area. 

Ideal stopping point from which to explore the area.

Lovely country pub with amazing rooms to suit our needs.

More than adequate

Back in the village I used to live good to see not much has changed still warm and friendly
