I had an excellent stay at the Failte Guesthouse. My room was quiet, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was really lovely with lots of choice. The host Thomas, was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

We stayed one night at Faile bed and breakfast on our way to the Hebrides. Everything about it was excellent; Thomas and Isabel had thought about every detail.  In particular, the breakfasts were outstanding - easily good enough for a 5 star hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful guest house with welcoming and friendly host. Myself and my friend stayed in the twin room at the top of the house, the room and bathroom were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts were wonderful. I really loved all the art work and as an avid reader loved looking at all the books which were available to borrow and also add to. If you are going to visit McCaig's Tower, do it from the guest house as you are already half way there! It is up quite a steep hill which would not suit everyone. It is very tranquil and peaceful and only a 10 minute walk to the town, a wee bit longer to walk back!
I would certainly recommend this guest house.

Perfect for a night in Oban!  This charming B&B was located up the hill away from the noise and crowds yet walkable to everything in town. Parking was right in front of the house. Thomas the owner was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Our room and adjoining bathroom which was up on the second floor was bright, modern and squeaky clean. Rooms are stocked with coffee, teas and shortbreads. Breakfast was lovely and delicious!  Pretty much all options were available including but not limited to a classic Scottish breakfast, toast, oatmeal, fruits, cereals and teas. The only call outs to travelers and I want to emphasize it wasn’t an issue for us is that rooms are on the small size so if you spend a lot of time in your room or have loads of luggage it will be tight and also water pressure from the shower is light.  Overall would highly recommend and would stay there again if we ever made it back to Oban!

Thomas and Isabel have really worked to make their home inviting and beautiful by paying attention to all the little and big details. The room was spotless and comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated with art—even breakfast was a beautiful experience.

Host is very welcoming, room and bath are clean and comfortable.  Breakfast was very good.  We had a very pleasant stay.

Stayed just for one night with our adult daughter in two rooms. All very comfortable and clean. Rooms are not large but are better equipped than most hotel rooms. Only a few minutes walk downhill to town centre.
 Breakfast was lovely in the morning.

You won’t go far wrong booking this B&B 
Really clean and welcoming. Attention to detail second to none - the breakfast was outstanding, better than most 4 or 5 star hotels I have visited.
I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again when I revisit.

Everything was perfect from the Host to the little "treat" by the bedside, from the cleanliness to the view, from the rich breakfast display to the smallest detail in the bedrooms. We loved it and if ever we are at that part of the world we will stay at Failte B&B again. Thank you!!

Was received by Thomas, who helped me with my luggage. The room is space and with a great view. Got a bottle of fresh water and a little bottle of milk, so I could make me a “nice-cup-of-tea”, as I needed to rest after many hours of travel. Breakfast this morning was plentiful and with a big variety to chose from. Thomas is the perfect host, and I give him my highest recommendations.
