We booked these apartments for our friends 50th.
If you like staying in dirty, smelly unkept accommodation that smells like something has died inside of it then this is the place for you!!
You even have a caged doorway to go through  filled with rubbish and a few burnt out items before you can enter the property.
Inside it's either hotter than the sun itself or freezing cold. 
There's two dirty showers that look like they are from  back in the 80s. The toilets and flooring in the toilets are disgusting. It's grubby and dirty and 💯 not in the city center as advertised. It will cost you about a tenner to get to the center.
It's situated in a rough area of Newcastle which made the group of girls I was with feel unsafe at times.
Just don't do it!!!

The area is a bit sketchy but the apartment was lovely, clean, ideal for us (couple with a child) for a weekend visit.

Nice apartment

Would definitely NOT recommend staying here. The area the apartment is located in is particularly rough. We were harassed when walking from the front door to our car (which was parked right outside). Had to phone the police on behalf of somebody in a serious argument outside on the street (one of 2 we witnessed during our stay). Spent our stay feeling extremely unsafe & would not recommend staying on this street or in this area.

There was no WiFi connection at all in the rooms. I had to go around to see where I can get the WiFi reception. It was difficult to reach the person who was looking after the property.b

The pictures do not repreresent the apartment that we were given. The apartment was tired and well worn. On checking in we were told that one of the shower doors was broken and that someone was on their way to rectify it. Nobody arrived. There was three showers but they are in the same room. The apartment wasn't particularly clean although the bed linen was.

I managed to book into these apartments at the last minute when our initial accommodation fell through, the host was super helpful and friendly with my other half collecting the keys, the apartments themselves were lovely and clean, short 10 min taxi to the bars in the evening and plenty of space for us all to spend some time together. Great little stay, thank you!

Great last minute save

We had appartment 5 on top floor very clean no drunks or noise so lovely pleasant stay. Bigger than we thought with full size kitchen and bathroom and 2 good size bedrooms with plenty of storage for cloths etc . Supermarket for all you goods less than 100 mts away and shops outside entrance door and less than 20 mins walk to st James park

Short break for football

We had booked this place before reading or seeing any reviews. I did look at the reviews prior to us going and it did make me abit nervous.
However the apartments were great!
I think they are fairly priced for what they are and where they are. 
Previous reviews stated about the area and the owner. Yes the area isn't as 'done up' as others or what some people are used to but we got a really warm response from anyone that we saw and met. 
As for the owners, they were great and couldn't have been any more hospitable. 
The apartments themselves were clean and spacious. Plenty big enough for us anyway.

The only thing I would say is if you are walking from the station it is a good 20/25minute uphill walk, it definately got the heart rate going but other than that it was really easy to find and if you don't fancy the walk there was always a taxi or uber no more than 5minutes away. 

I would say they are better suited for groups rather than families.

Overall had a really good experience.
