There is very little to add to the other 5 star reviews. This establishment is the closest thing to perfection you could ever imagine. A beautiful Hayloft, 4 poster bed, lovely sitting area, luxurious bathroom, and a basic but adequate kitchen area. If you want somewhere to get away from it all, this is the perfect hideaway. 
We ate at a wonderful pub called The Royal Oak in Collingham - just 2 miles away. Collingham also has a train station which gets you into the centre of Lincoln in just 15 minutes. 
Will we be back for a third visit - most definitely YES.

We stayed in the hayloft for 3 midweek nights in June.  It was to serve as a base while we explore this part of the country, specifically including the Southwell Workhouse and the Laxton National holocaust memorial. 
The area is very quiet, which appealed greatly, but don’t be expecting any shops or pubs in the village- there is a lovely church, and a part time post office, but thats about it.  Also be ready for narrow roads for the last mile as you approach it.  The hayloft is a compact, but well equipped and well decorated apartment.  Very clean, and very well maintained.  There was free Wi-fi, but I suspect this comes from a neighbouring building as coverage was very weak and sporadic.  We weren’t lucky with the weather, but England can not guarantee that, so no fault there.  
If visiting this area again, I would not hesitate to try this apartment again,  hopefully with sunnier weather.

This is a wonderful accommodation with period and modern charm. Laura who we spoke to couldn’t do enough to ensure things went off without a hitch. The location is a little remote with limited options but within a 5minute car drive is a couple of local pubs and a little further, maybe 15 minutes is the lord nelson pub which is definitely worth a visit.

The village is between Lincoln and Newark so great location for a visit. But if you don’t want to travel the accommodation is great for a lovely romantic evening with your partner in a great court yard.

We booked this accommodation to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and what a wonderful stay we had. Can only agree with all the other 5 Star Reviews. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas, and located in a nice peaceful and tranquil area called South Scarle.
One tip is to drive 10 minutes to Collingham and take the train into Lincoln as the roads are very congested as you get close to the city. 
We shall definitely be returning to 'The Hayloft'

From it all perfectly situated for easy access to Newark on Trent and Lincoln, excellent local pubs for a lazy lunch down by the river!

Booked two nights for our wedding anniversary. The accommodation is very good and a lot of thought has gone into facilities for guests. There is everything you could need for a short or long break here. The breakfast is optional but well worth it and gets you off to a good start. We hope to return when visiting the area.
