The Old Coach House

We stayed recently at The coach house it is beautiful well equipped very clean  spacious  welcoming  would definitely Recommend to any one looking for stay in Chester with family  will be looking to return Thank you for  making this a lovely stay Clair  excellent 

Our daughter was getting married- we needed a lot of accommodation that would be self contained (lots of babies coming !! ) but also 'joined up"so that we could eat together s needed .
It was great - we took one area with 5 bedrooms, bathrooms kitchen and sitting room , and 2 more units with kitchen and sitting rooms and bedrooms with bathrooms .
It all worked out well, we were able to put the babies and smalls to sleep and then sit outside having happy evenings outside at the patio picnic tables and umbrellas with food and wine., in the summer evening light .
There was a lawn for them to play on, and it was enclosed , so we didn't have to worry about anyone 'escaping '
The other, smaller patios aren't quite finished yet- work in progress- but still delightful and has a lovely together feel .

The beds are all extremely comfortable, first rate good white fine cotton bedlinen, and massively comfortable mattresses, such a relief. 
Baths and showers very clean, modern, all taps etc working well, no night drips to keep you awake or listening to someone else's bathroom life .
The whole place is quiet, pleasant, airy, well supplied, good fridges, ovens, microwaves, cutlery , nice glasses etc and good instructions .
Good flexible lighting in every room .

We all slept really well- quite a surprise in my case , notorious insomniac away from home - I was astonished !
Clare, the lady in charge was most helpful, and really went the extra mile on our very important day at Hawarden .
Brilliant postoffice/general store with irresistible pastries, a really nice quirky dress shop, co-op  for all groceries in 5 mins car (lazy me ) journey. Also hairdresser nearby (crucial for bride ). 

The wedding all went brilliantly , and we absolutely recommend the Coach House to stay in, for a family holiday or event .

The accommodation was excellent. Spotlessly clean and attention to detail. The kitchen facilities were superb, the bathroom and especially the shower absolutely wonderful. Plenty of storage in the bedroom. Lovely fragrance throughout the apartment. There was a large tv in both the living area and bedroom where Netflix and BBC iPlayer could be accessed. The complimentary bottle of wine and Welsh Cakes, milk and butter on arrival were thoughtful welcoming touches. Wifi a little sketchy and blinds instead of net curtains for privacy would have been more favourable but nevertheless this accommodation exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended. Will return again 😀

Great bolt hole for visiting family in the area. The owner was incredibly accommodating, the rooms were a very high standard and to top it off the puppy next door was cute and paid us daily visits! We will definitely go again.

Looking for a B&B in the area to spend the night whilst visiting family we came across this lovely establishment.
Charming host and premises; we cannot speak highly enough of Clare and her B&B!
The room we stayed in was big, very clean and very well furnished, with log burner, smart TV and his and hers bathroom sinks.
Only a short drive from Chester and next door to a couple of pubs so location is also convenient.
Highly recommend the Coach House and we will definitely return ourselves!

I have stayed at The Coach House several times this year to be close to family.
I have stayed in different rooms at my visits, I have stayed around the world but never ever had such wonderful facilities, welcome comfort hospitality and very clean, luxury, also the hosts  will go that extra mile, it is a happy warm place instantly you know you are staying in a special place, thank you shall be visiting regular. Warm welcome and great support to park car in space they had kept for me
double sinks and big shower 

Beds really comfy and the duvet is light and soft room was very quiet

We needed an overnight accommodation before checking in for a program at Gladstone’s Library. The Coach House had a room available and it was great. Clare is an accommodating and gracious host. We were able to check in early and rest after our overnight flight. The apartment is newly done and is so spacious and comfortable. We hope to be back! Thanks Coach House! Thanks Clare!

The renovated coach house was an excellent choice for two families weekend get away with children of varying ages. The high quality living, dining and kitchen facilities with contemporary furnishing coupled with traditional features made a very cosy and enjoyable space. The bedrooms and bathrooms we’re great quality. Excellent communications from owners. Thoroughly recommended. 

Very nice place, I have been visiting the area for more than 15 years and always used hotels but no more as I have found this little gem. The place was very clean, very modern and everything was just perfect. The big hotel chains could learn a lot from places like this. The communication from the owner was brilliant as well. Traveling with a baby also was an ideal place.
