Montpellier House B&B

My husband has been staying here for weeks at a time for a number of years. He says it's a home away from home run by a great host who goes the extra mile. Everything you'd need and a really welcoming place to arrive at. Very clean and cosy. He couldn't recommend it more highly.

I was hoping to write a unique review of this 5* B&B but I discovered that it's all been said!
So what I can say is that we agree 100% with all the other reviews.
We will be returning so that we can further explore this part of England which has so much to see and offer.
However this had better be soon as we gathered that Rebecca is planning to stop the B&B and turn her amazing house back into one unit.
So if you're planning to go, go soon. 
Oh and the gift of the chocolate drops was a lovely touch.

Rebecca is an excellent host!
I was welcomed with a very large G&T and offered an extensive choice of breakfast items.
The rooms are stunning, with such attention to detail, and the breakfast hamper is superb, and delivered to your room, at your chosen time.
Can highly recommend the warm almond croissants.
I didn’t want to leave, and hope to return soon. Thankyou

I spent a fabulous night at Montpelier House.  My sister in law and I received the warmest welcome from Rebecca who showed us to our fabulous rooms with super king sized beds, sumptuous bedding and pillows.  Our rooms were spotlessly clean, warm and cosy.   I resisted the chocolate cookies on offer in my room, but couldn't resist the hot chocolate and bar of chocolate!  Rebecca was a superb host and after a very warm welcome she returned with a bottle of wine for us to enjoy.   In the morning our breakfast was delivered in a basket with generous portions of fruit, yoghurt and granola, but the icing on the cake for me were the warm almond croissants.  B&B at its best - thank you Rebecca.  

A perfect B&B in a lovely village. Rebecca was a lovely host and couldn't do enough from the very welcome drink on arrival (taken a little later) to the more than generous breakfast selection. Quality throughout. The room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. The pub down the road does an excellent dinner too. Would highly recommend Montpellier House and would stay again next time we're in the area.

This is the perfect BandB for couples who appreciate a lovely welcoming host, fantastic 
, imaginative decor, a wonderfully comfy night's sleep in pristine, top quality bedding and plenty of peace and quiet. The glasses of wine were most unexpected, but delightful. The breakfast basket delivered to our door contained everything one could wish for....in very generous portions and the copious snacks left in the kitchen area were amazing. The best B and B ever!! Thank you so much, Rebecca.

An absolutely fantastic experience with an exceptional hostess. The first time in 20 years of travel that I was sorry to leave! Comfortable bed and pillows with kitchenette and luxurious ensuite facilities. Serviced daily and kept spotlessly clean. 

Simply amazing, the attention to detail. The level of service from the moment you arrive until the time you leave you are made to feel so special.The decor is lovely, the cleanliness spotless. The various little touches show that extra attention to detail. 

Great and really friendly communication before our visit was matched by such a warm and friendly welcome by Rebecca. The room was really well decorated and furnished with a large bathroom and great kitchenette area. Breakfast choices countless and the quality of products amazing!! Rebecca made us feel as if we mattered…..thank you. We’d thoroughly recommend Montpellier House and will definitely return ourselves. 

A beautiful house, stunning decor throughout and spotlessly clean.The house exudes luxury and elegance. The host Rebecca extends a very warm welcome to those who cross the threshold of her beautiful home. The welcome drink is such a lovely touch.

What an absolute gem of a B & B!!  Brilliant room with most comfortable bed and great bathroom with shower and bath!!  All done to the highest possible standard.  And the host, Rebecca,  was most welcoming, with an offer of a glass after our journey!!  The fridge was stocked with everything needed; fresh milk, juice and the continental breakfast was delivered in a wicker basket with enough to have a banquet to start the day.  Fresh fruit, warm croissants, toast - perfect orange juice. A  great start to the day.  It was so comfortable and welcoming, we were sorry to have to leave after only 1 night!!  We will be back and would very highly recommend this well organised, slightly quirky, B & B to anyone!!  A great place to stay.

A Gem of a B & B - worth more than 5 stars!!

I stayed at Montpellier House for two nights and didn’t actually want to leave!
WOW! Rebecca was the perfect host and my room was amazing, clean, comfortable, and like nowhere that I’ve ever stayed before. I was welcomed with a very large G&T, and the breakfast choice w is incredible.
It’s just a shame that I didn’t discover this hidden gem earlier!
Evening meals available at The White Hart, two minutes walk away.
Will definitely return to Montpellier House.

Another delightful stay at this wonderful B&B. The host Rebecca is so welcoming and made us feel home from home.  The welcome drink is such a lovely touch to begin your stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated, modern and clean. 
The  pre ordered breakfast is beautifully presented, with exceptional produce,  you definitely wont go home hungry.  Local amenities are easily reached  and we will look forward to visiting again soon x
