Lovely night in matlock  to see the jersey boys .premium inn was the perfect place to stay .taxi in cost 7.00  there and 7.00 back .we had a family of four the staff was most helpful
It was clean .and the bed so comfortable and big .there was tea coffee in the room .hairdryer and towels .good night sleep great breakfast .either full English or continental.definitely go back 

We arrived, greeted by a lovely receptionist.  We were allocated a ground floor room (disabled), and was booked dinner.  Room was clean, did need extra pillows (but that is our choice).  Dinner was ok, normal standard, nothing special.  Extra tea/coffee/milk for room was easily obtainable.  Would stay again, if i was in the area. 

As with all Premier Inns - it does exactly what it says on the tin but the staff are what make it special.
When we arrived at 3pm there was a very long queue for check in but Robert gave everyone his undivided attention even when the technology was letting him down.
Robert served our evening meal and was there again overseeing breakfast service so Thank You Robert.
There was plenty of parking and a 15 minute walk into Matlock, the room was clean, the beds so comfortable, plenty of pillows, towels, tea, coffee etc with extra supplies in reception.

Stayed here recently for a wedding in town. Room was great and the bed was lovely. Breakfast was on the money in terms of what I like as was the evening meal we had on the night we arrived. What makes this place score so highly for me was the staff, nothing was too much of an effort and all staff were polite, happy and really helpful.

A pleasant stay at a well run hotel on the edge of town, with good staff, service, food and parking.  Free Wi-Fi was useful, as mobile signal was not great.  Quiet location, set back from main road, and about 20 mins walk into the town.  Will be staying again!

We wanted a hotel close to the centre of Matlock and prem inn are always spot on. The service from the staff couldn't have been better , the food was nicely cooked and hot ,the room was very clean and warm and we could control the temp easily .We had a big snow fall which topped our stay off ,all i can say is well done Matlock staff nothing was too much 


Great location. Lovely hotel. Plenty of free parking. Nice clean room, lovely bathroom. Booked in for evening meal and were very happy with food - fair prices and freshly cooked to order. Lovely service from Mandy our waitress (who was also rushing around getting people booked in, dealing with queries, taking food and drinks orders, serving food, and all done with great humour and good nature. She is a gem.
We didn't stay for breakfast as the English Duathlon Championships meant an early start (6am on a Sunday!) Happy to recommend this hotel.

Fab night at this premier in made special   by Tammy who left a bottle of fizz in our room and a lovely card for our Anniversary everything was fab from getting in room to leaving going to book again in summer Thank you Tammy you made it all worth while x 5 stars

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Especially Dawn. 
The hotel itself was beginning to look a bit worn and getting ready for an overhaul but that did not detract from the comfort and quality of service and food. 

Stayed for the weekend , friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Clean and comfortable room . Had breakfast on both days and evening meal  , plenty of choice and good quality food . Compliments to the chef , steak on my mixed grill was cooked to perfection!

Very enjoyable stay

Really could not fault Premier at Matlock in any way except for one minor point which I will deal with first.
Check in was not available until 3pm of which we were aware. However, as time went on more and more guests were waiting to do just that. Why ever could the check-in procedure not happen earlier when the capability to effect that was available?
That said, the hotel was spotless, rooms were spacious with sufficient storage and all meals were substantial and well presented.
All the staff were friendly and very knowledgeable as to services available. I would single out Marisa especially for her assistance throughout our short but enjoyable stay.
We were staying in Matlock to visit the Christmas Market. That is a different story!

The trip started with an issue. Placed in room 224 i literally got no sleep due to the awful noise outside from a bank of aircon units on the outside wall.
I must say Martha was very helpful moving me to another room on the 2nd night so I could get some sleep finally.
No faults at all with all other aspects of the stay but Premier Inn these units need urgent maintenance to dampen down the drone / buzzing noise.
