Julie and Gwynn were excellent hosts. It was unseasonably hot and Julie provided sheets instead of the usual duvet for our comfort. Breakfast was very good, conversation’s delightful and local recommendations helpful. Shower hot and strong and we had wash cloths!

Julie and Gwynn gave us a super time at Foxdales. The bed was very comfortable, the room spotless and the breakfast superb. The area is unspoilt, and great for walking. Would highly recommend this establishment. 

The hospitality at Foxdale is unparalleled! We felt well cared for in a clean, modern room with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was hot. Breakfast was prepared to order and delicious. Julie packed us a lunch for the trail that was just perfect. I would recommend 
Foxdale to hikers and campers of any sort.  

I booked this site in a rush for 2 small families before looking at any reviews. We were more than happy with the site and the hospitality from Gwyn and Julie and would go again in a heartbeat. 
On arrival we were presented with a helpful little map/ info booklet and guided to our pitches which were opposite each other (one with leccy and one without) in the corner so our kids could play without straying too far.  Within minutes they'd made friends with another family so disappeared anyway! 
The rules in place are fairly standard (dogs on leads,  no kites /drones because of overhead electric cables) and aren't hard to adhere to.  
Picnic benches are dotted around to move and use accordingly which is a nice idea as not everyone carries a table and the communal drying room with microwave/ fridge is also a nice touch.  (no alcohol to be stored in the fridge for obvious reasons what with kids on site). Even labels to identify your food in the fridge are provided! Bricks are also there for BBQ purposes so add to not scorch the grass. 
The showers are a bit temperamental heat wise but they know this and have provided info regarding this to set them to medium.  No biggie.  I pointed out that a light bulb was on its way out and it was immediately addressed with a explanatory note posted on the wall in the meantime. 
Toilets are basic but clean and functional and if you can't cope with a few spiders watching you wee then you shouldn't be camping.  (note to previous reviewer!) 
Gwyn does do a little rekkie around 10 pm but instead of feeling watched (again, previous review), it was reassuring that he pays so much attention to the safety of his campers! Plus it gave us a chance to have a little natter.
A bap van is onsite (closed Wed)  which does breakfast and packed lunches if ordered in advance.  The pub up the road is within walking distance (the lobster pot) does cracking fare though.  Bare in mind that the local village shop has closed down as the owners retired so the nearest shop is in Milford. A little onsite shop for basics like bread/ milk would be jolly handy.

Stayed bed and breakfast in this lovely guest house while on a walking holiday. Julie and Glyn were amazing hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was fab. Julie showed me around the campsite as we have a camper van and would like to come in the future. What a great little campsite too.

On a family trip walking the Pembrokeshire coastline, we were LUCKY to start our trip at this Guest House. It was without doubt the highlight of every inn on the trip.
The hospitality was genuine and caring. I actually got to know my hosts!
The food was fantastic, well cooked, and always timely.
I stayed on the second floor facing the fields. The room looked and felt clean, and I was greeted with the stunning colours of the sunrise in the morning.

When I next return to Marloes, I will ONLY stay here.

Just had 2 nights in foxdale guest house. Used it as a base to walk the coastal path. Had a lovely time. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Accommodation and breakfast was spot on. Would definitely recommend a stay here in a quiet and beautiful part of Pembrokeshire.

Excellent site with fantastic facilities. We camped for 3 nights. Pitch was big and and had electric hookup. Toilets, showerz fridge/freezer, drying room, washing up area and recycling.  All facilities were very clewn. Site is small and very quiet which was just perfect...no noisy roads nearby. Also got visited by the local foxes! Perfect location for visiting Skomer and exploring gorgeous Pembrokeshire. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and happy to help with any issues.  All in all an absolute gem of a site and everyone in my group commented on how lovely it was. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again.

We stayed in the guesthouse the night before an early boat crossing to Skomer. Julie could not have been more helpful. The rooms were great and Julie got up to cook us an early breakfast so that getting to the boat on time was stress-free.

Fantastic site in the heart of Pembrokeshire 

Beautiful spot for camping. We stayed in our campervan with electric hook up. Basic facilities on site but very, very clean. The campsite managers were very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend. The village is very quiet. There is a lovely pub called The Lobster Pot Inn - worth booking in advance if you are planning on eating there. Also a small shop/Post Office/deli/cafe - the food on offer looked amazing. The beach is a 40 minute walk each way. 

Great weekend camping

Lovely small family run site. We stayed in our campervan and pitch was good size and reasonably level. Facilities good, with everything you need for a comfortable stay and dog friendly too. The Village has a pub which is a short walk from site, we called in for a drink but didn’t eat there so can’t comment. Marloes sands is a 35 mins approx walk away, through the village and across fields, what a beautiful beach and very quite this time of year. Plenty to see in area a short drive from site. Would happily stay there again.

Small, family run site with all you need for comfortable stay.

My colleague and I stayed in Foxdale Guest House when working in the nearby Skomer Marine Nature Reserve. Julie and Gwyn have a lovely place and are so welcoming and accomodating. We're really glad that this is the place we found to stay. The rooms are really clean and well furnished and the breakfasts and packed lunches were top. I hope work will bring me here again and I will definitely return on holiday to enjoy the local walking and beaches. Marloes is a pretty village with a good pub and is the access to St. Martins and the island of Skomer, with its seabird colonies and Marine Nature Reserve. Highly recommend this area and this guesthouse. The campsite looks to have excellent facilities too. A great base.
