The hotel is located o the second floor over a pub in the centre of the banking district. It’s a beautiful old building and the rooms have a a lot of original features. The hotel was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet for the centre of London. The staff are very helpful and we were lucky that our room was ready early. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. there was a fridge in the room with some complimentary soft drinks and fresh milk. Those was also an espresso maker. The room has a decent hairdryer and an iron and ironing board.The room includes complementary breakfast which is in the pub downstairs. There’s a small buffet of fruit and pastries and then a menu to order from Service was quick and food was good.The pub was quiet at the weekend which is not unusual and we had dinner there on the Saturday night. It was normal pub food and good quality. It is expensive but standard for the location.We will definitely stay again as it is a good location for visiting different parts of London.
