Had lunch in this beautiful restaurant today. We eat out frequently and today was one of the best we had. All 4 of was unanimous. great place great staff. A most enjoyable lunch. Thank you. We will be visiting again.

Visited first time with friends for Sunday lunch - lovely friendly place inside and very pretty outside too.  Food, staff and service was wonderful, will definitely return. This pub has a very cosy feel and they even grow their own veggies. Excellent car parking makes it so easy and accessible - highly recommend!

The Red Lion hosted our wedding reception and we were so impressed with the staff, attention to detail and the food for a large number of people was fabulous.
In the run up to our big day Callum was fantastic, helpful and really made us feel that it was important for him for us to be happy.
They are an amazing team of people and I would absolutely recommend them for a weekday meal, a Sunday roast or as a venue for something special.  Well done guys.

Visited with friends. Beautiful gardens. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly and efficient staff. The salmon and avocado main was filling and tasted delicious. Opted for the creme brûlée for dessert - best ever!  Great chef 🤗

We have eaten here a few times now.  The food is absolutely delicious the staff are attentive.  Overall such a lovely lunch.

The staff followed all the new rules and regulations and we felt very safe and welcomed.

Thank you we will be back soon. 

 Very pleasant pub with lovely garden and plenty of parking spaces we went as a family with a 1 Year old baby in the group the food was tasty and the staff were friendly and helpful and the garden was nice to sit and eat in and their was plenty of space and it was safe for the baby to play on the grass in the sun. 

I went to this pub for the first time.  Got an amazing welcome both by staff & customers. Went in with one friend came out with 7!
HIGHLY recommend this pub. Will definitely be going back. Slightly off the main road but well worth a visit.

The food is very good,best pub sunday roast in the area,not full of screaming kids, well worth a visit,this pub has a really good garden nice to sit outside and enjoy a drink,prices are reasonable they cater for birthdays and other events.

Probably the best Gastro Pub in Woking....I have been going here for years and the quality of food and service is exceptional. I always have Bang Bang chicken and calves liver but had Mackerel Paté and Melba toast tonight for a change as a starter and it was lovely, I didn’t find any bones!!! The staff were really nice and attentive and very accommodating. I would highly recommend it.... make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment!

A very nice pub just 20 min walking from Woking station. It is still in the town, but feeling you are in the beautiful countryside. The food is delicious  and the atmosphere is lovely.
There is a beautiful garden that I recommend visiting during the summer

We visited this Easter Sunday a group of 8. This place never disappoints. the pub is always busy, the staff are friendly with  amazing energy and patience. We all had a different roast, the food is excellent a wide range of vegetables, I requested a little more gravy the staff are attentive under very busy circumstances. Definitely would visit again we have been many times before. Most of our group had a variety of starters. 
I particularly like that they do not add a service charge compared to 2 other gastro restaurant/pubs near me in Newbury, which I find irritating. The service is excellent here and worthy of a tip.
