We were blown away by your hospitality. On the 2nd morning we had to leave early and your special treat breakfast bags carried us through the day. Also, the 1st morning breakfast was impeccable! The beds were so comfortable, the location convenient, the house and the grounds so lovely! Great stay all around out of hustle and bustle of the travel hub ! We would stay here again any time!

We stayed for 3 nights in room 6.  Excellent facilities and the room was spotlessly clean.
Fraser, the owner, was very friendly and knowledgeable and offered up a few great recommendations.
The choices for breakfast were varied.  We especially enjoyed the pancakes and fruit.
Fraser offered a packed lunch on the morning that we had an early pick up for a tour and would miss breakfast.  This was very generous of him and had enough  snacks to get us through the 12 hour trip.

We would thoroughly recommend Ballifeary Guest House and hopefully will be back again sometime.

A very friendly B&B. The owner does all of the cooking and looking after everybody. He is very interested in all his guests and his breakfasts are     Very filling. He gives good advice on where to go and what to see.Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfy. he does all the gardening and the outside is beautiful and welcoming. It is centrally located and only about a five minute walk to the Riverside walk. There are restaurants and bars very close. A great place to stay and enjoy everything that Inverness has to offer.

My partner and I spent two nights here and had a fantastic stay. The accommodations are excellent, the breakfasts were delicious, the location was splendid and Fraser, the owner was incredibly helpful with his tips and suggestions to supplement our plans for exploring the area. We'd stay here again!

My daughter and I spent two nights at Ballifeary.  The rooms were a tad on the small size, but very clean with updated decor.  The en suite bathroom was well stocked.  Fraser, our host, was kind and helpful.  Breakfast requests made the night before were waiting for us at our designated time in a lovely dining room with gorgeous fresh flowers.  The scrambled eggs were some of the best I have ever had.  The location was a 10 minute walk to the main stretch of shops and pubs and was an enjoyable walk along River Ness.  The street was nice and quiet, a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle after a day out.

This place is so cute and nice.  The gentleman that greeted us at the property gave us some excellent recommendations for eating and shopping.  The next morning he had our breakfast all ready.  This was one of our favorite stays in Scotland.  Would definitely stay here again.

Fraser is a wonderful host. Very attentive and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The breakfast choices are diverse and delicious. Plant milk available if you are non dairy. There are fresh flowers in vases everywhere, especially in the breakfast room. Charming, inside and out. Short walk to the town center.

A really comfortable stay. Just a 10 minute walk from the centre of town, in a quiet location. Spacious room with all facilities needed.

Fraser is the best host. We mentioned hiking as our goal.  Fraser provided several very interesting and appropriate hiking locations. His locations were perfect. Fraser also served a delicious breakfast. Great place to stay!!!

Nice B and B in Inverness. Fraser was helpful and professional. Place was great. We traveled without a car and the place is a 15- 20 min walk from city center and train station. It is a pleasant walk across the Ness river.Just be aware of check in and check out times as it is a small B and B and not a hotel. We are giving the stay a five star review and highly recommend it!We do have some suggestions :We found the room a bit chilly . The windows were east facing in our room . The very early to rise May Scottish Sun had us waking up in panic that we had overslept!!! Black out drapes would be a lovely addition to this nice place.We would have no hesitation in booking this place again!

What a beautiful house. Very warm welcome from Fraser. Very knowledgeable about the area, restaurants, pubs etc. the room we had (3) was excellent. Very spacious and very clean. Excellent bed, great 2 nights sleep. Bathroom also very clean and spacious. We didn't have a cooked breakfast but cereal/toast & coffee, at no charge.
The guest house is ideally situated, round 1 corner from the walkway along the river
I'd recommend the Ballifeary without any doubt. We will definitely return.

Brilliant...

This was a wonderful place to stay! Very clean and safe. It’s easy to walk to downtown from here where the pubs and shops are. Fraser is friendly and kind and full of suggestions for things to do and see in Inverness. The breakfasts were delicious. If you’re a dog person his dogs are super friendly and sweet. I highly recommend Ballifeary Guest House.

Very nice guest house to stay in. Good service; rooms very clean (but very small). All rooms upstairs so need to take luggage up the staircase. Also, no restrooms downstairs where breakfast is served. Owner was "on call" but now readily available upon entering establishment -- had residence in another part of the building I believe. But very hospitable and helpful-very friendly.
