A very nice room, hosts accommodating. Enjoyed my stay. It's one of the better B&Bs in Fairfield Road. Short walk onto town and parking on hosts drive.
Breakfast was a change to the traditional Scottish. The scrambled egg and toast was extremely good. Fruits and fresh pastries. Great coffee.
Will be staying again.

Room was very cosy and comfortable. A wide range of instant coffee, hot chocolate, specially made tea and snacks was prepared by the host. Delicious breakfast and amazing homemade pastries that I thoroughly enjoyed. 

Guest house is conveniently located - less than 10 minutes walk to city centre where you have access to amenities and some great restaurants.

Host - John and wife were very hospitable. They are always there to ensure that our needs being taken care of.

Arrived in Inverness and was greeted by Marta.  She made dinner reservations for us at Waterfront which was excellent and an easy walk.  Room was nicely appointed and had all of the amenities we expected…tea and biscuits in the room, plenty of towels for the hot shower, great breakfast the next morning (best scrambled eggs I’ve eaten ).  She made sure we parked in the correct parking place so as to not get a ticket.  Lovely location and hosts!  (Including John)!

A wonderful B&B, everything you’d hope for and more.  Hosts were very accommodating to our travel issues, house and room is very clean and comfortable, our bathroom felt newly renovated.  Extremely generous and delicious breakfast including fresh pastries.  Location is perfect for a quick walk into town and has on site parking.  Host provided excellent recommendations for exploring the area, and made us sandwiches for our car ride the day we were leaving.  So happy we found this property, and if we’re back in Inverness would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed with Magna and John for a lovely night and can’t recommend their hospitality highly enough. From the sparkling clean room, to the wonderful porridge (made gluten free just for me) to the little touches like John’s fabulous Grain and Grind Loch Ness Monster coffee bags. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Our hosts were wonderful and accommodating.  The breakfast was outstanding. Our room was perfect. John pointed us to the Water Front Pub for dinner.  Food was delicious and live Celtic music that evening. Parking was tight, but that's just the way it is Scotland.

We stayed in this  Atherstone guest house bed and breakfast for 2 nights and can only say the best about the place and owners.  Very easy and friendly people.  The room are clean and spotless. The bed is very comfortable.  Delicious breakfast and even allow for take away sandwich.  I recommend it to all travellers, great place, great people.

Cosy guesthouse with warm host. We had a wonderful one-night stay at Atherstone Guesthouse during out Scotland tour. The room is comfortable, and the breakfast was wonderful, especially the homemeade yoghurt. John even made us delicious rolls for the road.

John and Magda were the most welcoming hosts. The breakfast was amazing and johns porridge is the best in all of Scotland. Highly recommended. Easy to find, and lovely setting and area. I will definitely be using this guest house again whenever I’m in the Inverness area, and will be recommending to all friends and family.

I stayed here one night as part of a Heart of Scotland tour. We were late arriving due to a car crash delay (not us! On the toad ahead of us and we had to take a detour). Our hosts were very understanding, got us set up quickly, let us wait until morning to pay so we could go see Inverness while it was still light. The shower was hot, the bed comfortable, and I was happy to have a kettle in the room. Breakfast was cold but yummy and included eggs, salmon patties, fruit (blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries!), yogurt, toast, cereal, and some meats and cheeses. Plenty to get you going in the morning!

John’s Amazing Porridge

When the host is so very nice, I always hate to mention any negatives. Our room here was very spacious and the host kindly provided gluten free toast for us. 
The shower was very odd and in the end we didn't use it. Alternated between scalding and freezing water and had no place to set soap or shampoo. We did quick sponge baths instead.
