Beautiful home in a very nice area of Inverness. Fairly close to dining and shopping. The hosts were wonderful and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The Scottish breakfast was very good. Truly enjoyed our time in  Inverness. We highly recommend this home.

This is a comfortable, clean place, with a delicious breakfast that easily accommodated my gluten free diet.  It’s not too far from the town center easy enough to walk to, nestled in a quiet neighborhood.  Plenty of restaurants to choose from in Inverness, and live music! We enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Eildon Guest House - wish we could have stayed longer.  Jacqueline was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.  The guest house is located in the oldest area of Inverness with lovely tree-lined streets and is just a 5-10 min walk down to the city centre.  The house is beautifully decorated and our room was spacious and very comfortable. The modern bathroom was also great with plenty of storage.  The breakfast choices were also great with a range of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cheese etc as well as cooked breakfast options. I can definitely recommend Eildon Guest House for a great stay in Inverness.

Beautifully renovated home with a gorgeous monkey puzzle tree in the front. The owner showed us to our room and explained how the heat worked etc. Our triple room was perfect for my husband , myself and our adult daughter. We just had a long flight from the USA and it was nice to settle in for our first night.  We had a dinner reservation and it was a short walk to the restaurant   Breakfast the next morning was perfect. This was a cozy, warm bed and breakfast with a delightful owner. It’s one of my favorites!!

Our favorite place we stayed on a two week vacation around the UK! It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and we felt right at home. It was right within walking distance of downtown which was very nice. Jacqueline is an excellent host and we'd definitely stay again.

This is truly a well thought out and managed guest house.  There was NOTHING missing in the room nor the breakfast that I would have added. I cannot think of one item or thing that it did not have nor supply, including friendly and helpful staff.  It was by far the cleanest bathroom and room I have ever stayed in (and I've stayed in many hotels and guest houses around the world)

Great location!  We found this via Rick Steves.  It was very comfortable and our hostess Jacqueline was superb. Breakfast was hearty - and we enjoyed chatting with other guests.  Highly recommend if you are in Inverness!

amazing guest house on a quiet street within an easy walk to all the shops, restaurants and attractions Inverness has to offer.  Rooms are very nicely appointed with large hot shower.  beds were very very comfortable.  the Hosts are very helpful, friendly and oh so very nice.  Breakfast was very nicely done with choices of hot items and wonderful strong pot of breakfast tea.  

From greeting to goodbye, our stay was delightful. Good breakfast, attractive surroundings and an easy walk to High Street shopping. Every need was anticipated in this well run  establishment. I felt like a pampered guest in the home of friends. 

Well-appointed rooms and dining area. Exceptional service and helpful info on navigating Inverness and the surrounding area. Breakfast was excellent with a nice variety. We would most definitely stay here again!

wonderful location in Inverness 

Excellent guest house. Easy walk to many shops and restaurants.  Beautifully appointed house. Lovely comfortable rooms with very comfortable beds and pillows. Large bathroom with wonderfully hot shower.  Tea kettle with coffees and teas to choose from small refrigerator with waters and small container of milk for your tea or coffee.   Breakfast was very nice with choices of hot items.  Was a wonderful wonderful experience.  Hugh met us at the door and he was so very helpful, friendly and made us feel

Wonderful charming guest house

We have stayed in many, many B&Bs over the years but this is the very Best! Our host was the nicest person and had taken the effort and the money to make this one the best. Every detail of her renovation is first class. The location allowed us to easily walk to the Inverness City Center. The breakfasts were really good. Great place to visit!!

Best Bed and Breakfast Ever

If you go to Inverness the Eildon guest house is the place to stay.  The owner Jacqueline has done a magnificent job of creating a welcoming and very thoughtful atmosphere.   The room design is customer centric resulting in a very pleasant experience.   The breakfasts (included) were also excellent and provided a filling way to start the day!  The guest house is in a residential district but a short walk to the city center.  This is the place to stay for a real feel of Scottish hospitality!  Highly recommend.

Eildon--wonderful guest house respite in Inverness 

We are an active older American couple in our very late 60s. During our recent holiday to Scotland we had the pleasure of staying at the Eildon Guest House for two nights. Simply put ... it is clean, quiet and comfortable. It is in a residential neighborhood within easy walking distance to Inverness. It offers manageable off street parking. For us, the location also allowed us to explore the area by car as well. 
The owner Jaqueline was engaging and very welcoming. Our morning breakfasts were delicious and a great way to start the day. Please consider the Eildon Guest House for any travel plans to Inverness.

Great Value and Location

We spent almost two weeks touring Scotland and Wales and this was hands down my favorite place to stay. From the moment we walked in, it was cozy, clean, and smelled wonderful! Jacqueline was an excellent host - she made every part of our stay a delight! She was friendly and helpful, gave great recommendations and made a delicious breakfast. Our room was large and very comfortable. And house was perfectly situated - far enough away from the city to be very quiet at night, but close enough to be an easy walk to get into the middle of town. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Delightful Guest House

My family stayed here while visiting Inverness recently and it was a wonderful Guest House. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The location is great, within quick walking distance to the city center and restaurants, shops and attractions. The host Jaqueline was very helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious.
