Premier Inn Inverness Centre - River Ness

I chose this hotel mainly for the location.  It's right on the river, a ten-minute walk from the railway station and close to restaurants, shopping, and the cathedral.  I was at Premier Inn for two one-night stays; both rooms looked a bit tired (one was slightly nicer than the other), but the beds were comfortable and I slept well.

We stayed 3 nights. Great location, clean comfortable room. Fantastic service. Perfect choice for exploring Inverness and environs 

I stay at the Premier Inn on numerous occasions.
The staff are perfect and so supportive and helpful.

Meals are nice, but it's the staff that are the stars of the hotel.

I would highlight the lady duty manager who works on reception. She is so helpful and happy to support guests requirements. 

We all have our expectations of staying at a Premier Inn, especially if we have stayed at a few. This Premier Inn, however, benefits from being in an ideal city centre location and has onsite parking available. But what sets this Premier Inn apart from many others is the quality of its staff, all of whom were welcoming, considerate, engaging and helpful.

Great central position. Lovely view from the bar and restaurant across the river to the city. Room clean, tidy and in good order. All staff were always helpful and friendly.  Enjoyed the breakfast in particular. 

Very attentive staff and great night’s sleep. Centrally situated just 10 mins walk from the station. Ate in the restaurant and for the price you couldn’t fault it. Would certainly return when next in Inverness.

Great location overlooking the river Ness and a very short walk to the town centre. Arrived quite late in the evening but staff very attentive and we soon had pizza and drinks to start off our stay in Scotland in hospitable fashion. Breakfast was good and plentiful although did wonder if it would have been more cost effective to take the meal deal. 

The location of the hotel is really good, just on the other side of river ness overlooking the river. You can just cross the river and reach the city centre. However, if you minus this then this hotel is just good for decent stay. The hotel is lacking adequate stuff almost everything you have to do on your own. Breakfast is just ok, everyday same breakfast. I would recommend you have breakfast from outside . Inverness has variety of dinning option, avail it. 

Mercury hotel is the best option in Inverness. If you stay opt for the river facing rooms.

I stay here whenever in Inverness.

Right on the river and parking is easy even if the hotel car park is full.  
The Cathedral car park is a five minute walk away and only cost me a fiver for overnight and some extra hours.

The Thyme Restaurant is excellent value for breakfast, with views over the river.  The room was quiet, clean, spacious with a comfy large bed.  The bathroom also spotless.

Intercom not provided in room. Room service absent. We had to go down to fetch small necessities like tea and coffee pouches for making tea and coffee in our room after the small quantities of tea and coffee pouches already in the room were finished.
