Superb place to stay.  Hosts cannot do enough for you. We had a garden room which was beautiful. Mini bar, free WiFi, toiletries and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are incredible.

Fantastic find and wonderful stay. Comfortable, clean, bright and every detail catered for including bath robes, spare bedding, guide book, down to smallest details, inc fresh milk, coffee bags and mini bar. Friendly and attentive hosts Archie and Stephen couldn't do enough - annexe perfect for wheelchair access. Breakfast perfect and lots of coffee top ups! Will be staying again. 

Fantastic little Gem of a place. Spotless clean, nothing was too much trouble.  Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning,  but also good choice of cereal,  fruit or even continental breakfast.  Parking was a bit tight, but managed to squeeze in, but would probably struggle if you have a 4 x 4, however you can park out front if there are spaces. 

Close to all amenities and beach. We have stayed in worser hotels than this, would absolutely recommend this place.

Fantastic place to stay. Fabulous room with great view and spotlessly clean with very nice touches. The hosts Stephen and Archie are very attentive. Incredible breakfast options which are freshly cooked. Cannot fault the place at all. Will definitely stay again.

This place was perfect there is nothing I can say that is bad about it. Very clean, and the room was spacious with a settee in it to relax on. The hosts were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend to stay here, it is minutes from the seafront, fabulous fish and chips and sandringham is 20 minutes away were we had a lovely afternoon tea

We stayed for a long weekend for 3 nights.
The accommodation was lovely and very close to the seafront and local tourist areas. The hosts Stephen and Archie were lovely, very polite and friendly, and on arrival gave us a full tour of Gate Lodge and full run down of the accommodation and the local services. The room (Room 5) was excellent with a nice sea view and very clean with a lovely king size bed, bathroom, TV, sofa, chairs, tea and coffee making facilities and a minibar fridge was provided with a good range of soft and alcoholic drinks all very reasonably priced. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, a very good night's sleep assured!! The bathroom was lovely and clean with nice towels, soaps, shower and bath soaks provided. The bathroom also had some lovely extras included like cotton buds and face wipes provided. The English breakfast in the morning was lovely with a good range of starters also. The breakfast room was lovely and clean with great friendly service from Stephen. All in all a lovely stay and very good value for money. Gate Lodge is a very well run and exceptionally comfortable place to stay. We highly recommend staying here and we will love to stay again in the future. 5 stars all round!! 

Spent a lovely few days at this delightful guest house,Archie and Stephen made us so welcome. The rooms are so clean, bed was comfortable, fantastic shower, fridge with reasonably priced drinks, and tea and coffee facilities.  The breakfast menu is fantastic, you have so much choice, don't understand the previous review about Stephen not being very chatty, we found him very helpful, don't forget he serves everyone in the dining room.  Thank you Archie and Stephen,  we wouldn't stay anywhere else, when we come back to Hunstanton 

Couldn’t fault anything during our stay. Lovely room with everything we could need. Very clean and well furnished bedroom. Excellent breakfast and always happy to give us information. We stayed for 5 nights and left our car in the car park and used the local buses as suggested. 

We hope to return again in the future.

My partner and I have just returned from a two night stay.
As my title says Jome from Home because you want for nothing whilst staying here.Face cloths cotton buds,cotton wool pads,tissues,complimentary bottle of water the fridge,biscuits each day.Ceiling fan. If it not there you don t need it.
Breakfast caters for all tastes cereals yoghurt,fresh fruit,and of course your British fry up to set you up for the day. Tea,coffee toast.
Decor is beautiful all matching blues creams brown.
One of the owners Archie welcomed us,Showed us the breakfast room there is a guest sitting room he carried our bags to our first floor room,which we asked for,he explained every detail about the room.Asked what time we would like breakfast.
I believe when we booked,Archie  was kind enough to email us local places to eat in the evening.
There is limited parking at the rear of the property.
Lovely mature landscape gardens.
We had a very pleasant stay couldn,t want for anything,Archie and Stephen have really made there business Home from Home.

We have been coming to stay at Gate Lodge 9 times in the last 7 years. And every time we come we get the best of welcome. A great Breakfast and a brilliant night's sleep better than Premier Inn can give us. We went for 5 nights next Year we are going for 8 nights because there is so much to do and we run out of time to do everything.

New favourite place to stay when visiting Norfolk

Relaxing place to stay

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay last weekend. An excellent location. From our welcome to our goodbye there was nothing we could fault! The decor and cleanliness is immaculate. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice.  The attention to detail was wonderful ...I loved the scissors to open the sauce sachets!  Shame we were unlucky with the parking spots. Could happily recommend to anyone. Hope to visit again in the future.

Home from home.

We were greeted by Archie and he gave us a quick tour of the B&B. 

There were alcoholic/non alcoholic drinks available in the lounge and in your room. You had to complete a form to let the hosts know what you have had and this was then added to your bill on departure. This was a good facility to have if you fancied a drink in their garden which was very private. The garden furniture just needs a quick brush - but lots of seating areas. 

Our room was very clean, the bed was a bit too hard for us - but that’s just personal preference. 

Location Is excellent for all the things on offer in Hunstanton. The car park is tight - but there’s an abundance of car parks and street parking available. 

Breakfast was lovely - everything was cooked fresh to order. There was also a big range of cereals, fruit juices, fresh fruit and yoghurts available too. You will not be disappointed. 

We had a lovely stay.
