Anick Grange Farm B&B

A beautiful 16/17th century property overlooking a grassed area with an arched entrance. Lovely staircase leading to the upstairs rooms, of which ours overlooked the rear and into the farmyard. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed, an en-suite shower room and a small walk in wardrobe. Breakfast is taken in the reception room overlooking the front of the house which is sunny most of the day. Very helpful host who takes pride in her home. Dark sky area.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on 13th and 14th May this year. Julie made us very welcome and the twin room was extremely clean, as was the whole house. Our room was very warm and comfortable with everything we could need. Our choice of cooked breakfast was made to order with juice, cereals and toast etc all laid on for us to help ourselves. The room had a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and was lovely and quiet at night. We can thoroughly recommend Anick Grange Farmhouse and hopefully we will get the chance to return at some point. Thank you Julie.

As others have said,  this B&B is a marvellous place to stay when visiting the Hexham area. Julie, the hostess, provides a warm welcome to a charming house with spacious, immaculate 
rooms, comfortable beds and a choice of delicious breakfasts made with locally sourced ingredients.

We spent a few days at Annick Grange recently and it felt like 'home from home' from the start.  Located ideally between Hexam and Corbridge, this working farm is situated in beautiful countryside.  Julie, our host, made us very welcome and our room was so comfortable with everything you'd need for your stay.
The breakfast was probably the best we've ever had with a variety of cerials to start you off, followed by a marvellous cooked breakfast with locally sourced bacon, sausages, etc.

Definitely a return visit next time we're up in Northumberland.

My partner and I arrived after a long journey from the midlands.  The landlady Julie was charming and very helpful, suggesting various places to get an evening meal, and where to go for the best walking.  The breakfast was excellent; we could choose almost anything.  The house was very clean and the bed very comfortable.

We have just enjoyed a four night break at this spacious farm B+B. Our en-suite room was very clean, with comfortable twin beds and everything we could possibly need, including a sofa so that we could both relax in comfort. Quite often there is only one comfortable chair in B+B's and hotels. We had no problem with noise from the road. Breakfast was cooked to a very high standard with quality ingredients. Julie was friendly and made us feel very welcome, giving helpful suggestions about eating out and parking. Anick Grange Farm is well placed for events at the Sage Gateshead and Battlesteads hotel, Wark which we had pre-booked. We enjoyed seeing Hexham and Corbridge which were close by, as well as doing a few National Trust visits. We will return and recommend to friends.

A super B&B with a perfect hostess. We stayed three nights and had a comfortable twin room with en-suite shower.
Julie produced an excellent breakfast including fresh eggs from her own hens.
Don't worry about possible noise from the main road a quarter of a mile away, our room had double glazing and we didn't hear a thing.

Two of us were travelling from Scotland down to The Midlands and had been asked not to arrive too late, as this is a working farm. Due to a variety of reasons we got delayed, but upon letting Julie know while we were en route, she was understanding and we managed to get there just about within the revised agreed time. This is a charming old farmhouse and Julie couldn't have been more helpful in steering us to a decent venue that was still serving food at 8pm on a Sunday. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was in a very pleasant room and we went on our way quite satisfied.

Had a 3 night stay and was so pleased with our choice.  The rooms were spacious and very comfortable.  Breakfast choice was brilliant and served by a very friendly host- Julie.  Amenities were close by if required.  The position of Anick Grange was so quiet and peaceful, ideal for recharging our batteries.  Would definitely recommend this b&b, and hopefully will return in the future.

Comfortable room with excellent breakfast. We came looking for family connections and through the help of some kind ladies located my great grandparents graves. It was so nice to be able to stay in the house where my grandfather grew up. 
Great location with lovely pub within walking distance too.
