I eat here all the time, The  food is  always outstanding!!!

hotel and restaurant  is family friendly, we always have a warm welcome.

i have also stayed here bed was very comfy,

Shared a room with friends. A good price split between us. Bed was comfy, TV in the room was nice after a long day out. Food was great along with the staff who was very nice and talkative. 
Great view and location.

Stayed here when attending Sunday night at Steelhouse festival. Room not ready when we arrived but able to leave our stuff and take the room key with us. Owner very helpful, could not get a taxi to the festival for love nor money but the owner tried to get us a lift from his pal's. Unfortunately no-one available but good of him to try. Room although in need of a bit of TLC it was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again and will sample the amazing food I have read about. thanks a lot Ambala.

A weekend in Whales

Stayed for one night after Steelfest festival. Rooms grubby, cobwebs up the staircase. Very overpriced at £70 per night and no breakfast ! Didn't want to use the bathroom, whole place needs a makeover. Only saving grace was bed sheets appeared to be clean and towels were definitely clean. Couldn't wait to get away in the morning.can only imagine owners make their money out of Indian restaurant on ground floor and have no interest in the hotel side of the business whatsoever.

Cold, no heating, utterly useless staff, no food option UNLESS you wanted a curry, and I've had more tasty glasses of water!! Would rather have camped out in the rain!! At least then we could have made provision for ourselves!! Utterly dreadful experience

went there before butt, partner normally have an irish curry would have rathered that than this muck old partner had a bad belly after this and couldnt get off the thunder box for absolutely ages butt
