Fabulous views and all 3 rooms are beautiful. Margaret is a lovely host and nothing is too much trouble. Had a fab stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area. We went to Cartmel but this guest house was far superior & only 5 minutes drive. 

The best B&B ever!
Bay Villa is a fantastic B&B and the best room we’ve stayed in, in the UK. 
We stayed in the Library, as I love the decor and the balcony overlooking the estuary. The breakfast was delicious, plenty and great quality produce.  We liked having the two courses as we were definitely full into the afternoon! 
The owner was lovely and very welcoming. 
The location is great for walks along the coast and to the town, and close enough to other towns to visit. We ate at Thyme out and definitely recommend if you like Greek cuisine. 
This was our second stay here and we will be back for sure! 

This is by far the best B&B we have stayed in. We stayed in the library room. The attention to detail included a phone charger, wine and beer on arrival, huge selection of hot drinks in each room, including horlicks ( which on an autumn evening  is just what you need!), slippers, dressing gowns and  beautiful  soaps. They even leave a picnic basket with cutlery and plates in case you bring back a takeway. The breakfast is served in your room and you have a huge choice including, fruit, yogurts, full English, full Scottish, juices, plenty of tea and coffee, pancakes, eggs benedict etc The view from the library room overlooks the Bay. It is stunning.  The place is full of small independent shops like a chocolatier, bakery, butchers, gift shops and vintage shops.  There are lots of lovely places to eat. The pub next door does  tasty fish and chips and you get the view there too. The owner is genuine and  kind and supports charities that help young people, which is how we heard about this place.  This place is pure affordable luxury. You will not want to leave your room! 

Had a fabulous stay at Bay Villa in Grange over Sands.  We stayed in the Silverdale room, top of the house with amazing views over Morcambe Bay.  Beautifully appointed with a four poster bed and roll top bath in the bay window.  Plenty of attention to detail, Margaret has thought of everything and it was a real pleasure to come back to every day!   Breakfast was outstanding, with a huge selection to choose from and brought to our room every morning at our chosen time - who could want for more and we were totally spoilt!   The surrounding area is just stunning with lovely walks down on the promenade and ornamental gardens.   Free parking just yards from the property with a permit for each room.  Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants etc within a short walk of the property.  Many thanks to Margaret who was an amazing host and gave us a lovely warm welcome - nothing was too much trouble!   We highly recommend this property and will certainly return!!  

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this 2 night stay was. I live locally but chose to stay here the night before my wedding to have some “me time” and space to get ready. My husband joined me following our wedding. 
Margaret spoiled us rotten and made it really special for us. We stayed in the Estuary room which was stunning and the dressing room was very useful for me getting into my wedding dress. Margaret showed us the other 2 rooms which are equally stunning. 
Being able to choose when & what to have for brekkie and have it served in the room felt really luxurious. We loved every minute and have no hesitation in recommending it to everyone.

An absolutely fabulous and magical place. Stayed with my husband as a birthday treat. Cannot recommend highly enough. The warmth of the welcome from Lynn and the atmosphere and attention to detail amazing. We will definitely return. A total gem. 

One of the most magical places I have ever stayed.On our recent holiday where we stayed in a range of lovely accommodation from castles to treehouse this was the definite winner. We had the 2 downstairs rooms the Old Library and the Estuary. Much more stunning in real life than their pictures. A great breakfast was delivered to the room where the table was set up the night before, so comfortable and private. Space, views, dozens of quirky touches. We would return in a heartbeat. We cannot recommend highly enough.

We just stayed for a night after a birthday lunch at Lenclume in Cartmel. Pre visit communication was great keeping us informed in the weeks prior to the trip. On arrival we were met by Lynn who hosted the venue. She arranged a taxi for us at minutes notice and gave us a really warm welcome
while showing us our room and explaining how breakfast in our room would work the next day. The room was beautifully individual, when combined with Lynn’s hospitality it made for a perfect stay.

Another amazing stay at bay villa . This time we stayed in silver dale . Previously we stayed in the library . Both r equally stunning , really can’t decide which we prefer . The service and breakfast are outstanding . The lovely touches fir r anniversary were lovely too. Think  u would be hard pressed to find a better view and standard of room. We have already booked again and can see us returning for many years to come .
U just need to book in early as it gets booked up. Thanks again for an amazing stay

Absolutely blown away by this place ...Amazing!! Here this weekend to celebrate our engagement and we honestly could not have booked a better more romantic place. Unfortunately we couldn't book this room for both nights of our stay so we had stayed at The Grange our first night, paid more and it was no where near as beautiful as Bay Villa. The attention to detail was fabulous from the fab welcome by Manager Lynn, to our room being ready early, the toiletries, the welcome drinks in our fridge,  the beautiful furniture ( we stayed in The old Library) the gorgeous terrace with full sea view absolutely stunning!! We even get to eat our breakfast out there as its brought to your room! Can't wait to come back 😊

What a delightful place to stay - so pleased that we chose Bay Villa! Booked 'The Library' and it was absolutely exquisite. Attention to detail and cleanliness were second to none and we couldn't have asked  for a more perfect stay. Super comfortable bed, large, powerful shower and a fantastic choice of breakfast made our experience superb. We would not hesitate to book Bay Villa again and commend the hosts on delivering a faultless experience for guests.

Our visit to Bay Villa was a truly memorable couple of nights. Correspondance with both Margaret and Lynn at every stage was clear and reasuring our booking was managed professionally. A wonderful warm welcome awaits when you arrive. Lynn's hospitality is first class, she goes the extra mile to please ensuring you will not want for anything. Exquisit taste throughout the home, each suite is unique with special attention to detail. Lovely complimentary treats in room. Breakfast is amazing, a superb choice inc what I consider should be mandatory on holiday #bloodmary . For a special treat and a 5 star experience look no further. Great location to explore Lakes and many surrounding places of interest. I can highly recommend and we are looking forward to our next visit.
