This place did not disappoint! We felt like a Lord and Lady staying here. If you're looking for a bit of spoiling on your trip, or just need to feel at one with the earth, this is the place! The room was a bit tight, but it was all we needed for the purpose of the stay - a safe, comfortable and a little luxurious place to rest our heads. Being in this mansion felt a bit like being on set of Downton Abbey. The areas such as library, drawing room, etc were open for lounging as long as there was no function going on. The grounds are magnificent in the early morning. Go for a walk and you will see rabbits frolicking in the fields, and possibly a deer or two. Would stay here again!
