I think how you feel about this place just depends what you like. If you want modern perfection then go for a hotel or find another cottage and expect to pay double the cost of this. If you like rustic charm, you'll love it. The location is perfect, so peaceful but really convenient for botanic gardens and other tourist places. We stayed with our two beagles and they slept soundly throughout as it has such a cosy, homely feel. Nice bedroom (love the bedside lamps), great kitchen and a living area with a window seat overlooking the garden. Bathroom was pretty basic but functions well and the shower is a good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Good cooking facilities and parking was fine. The only things that we would've changed would be a search light to come on by the front door at night and the back door is a bit fiddly to lock. Maybe a day bed or sofa bed in the lounge rather than the single bed but these things would just be perfection, they didn't affect our enjoyment of the place at all. With the pure tranquility we experienced in a city centre, we'd 100% go back. Hoping to stay there for our wedding at Oran Mor if it's available.
