Amazing rooms with more than anyone could need down to organic food for breakfast with fresh bread, fruit, milk, yoghurt & juice in fridge to natural bath and shampoo products that feel good and loofah in bathroom. Clean, handy, amazing outdoor area to sit & enjoy

Our room was absolutely perfect! There was a sitting area and a mini kitchen in addition to our bedroom area. There was fresh bread, milk, juice, coffee/tea, fresh fruit - you name it they included it in our kitchen. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful spot to spend the night. If we come back to the UK we'll spend a week here!

Absolutely tranquil spot , beautifully maintained gardens with seating areas , lovely warm welcome , arrived early not expecting to get the key but as the room was ready we were able to check in . Room was spotless rustic but modern , super comfy bed , little kitchenette with milk coffee all sorts of tea provided. Little tray of snacks provided peanuts biscuits and little chocolates , lovely touch. Fruit bowl and bottled orange juice and water also provided. Extra bonus was the restraunt next door , food was fabulous , we did pop in to book a table as it does require reservations .When we are back in the area we will definitely book again.

We had a brilliant 1 night stay here on a weekend. The room we stayed in was fantastic,good size and had everything we needed,I wish we had stayed longer! The breakfast was already in the room which I actually really enjoyed,I couldn't believe the choice available,there was yoghurts,fruit,granola,a fresh loaf,porridge,cereal,milk,teas,coffee,hot chocolate, even some britvic orange juice. We were very happy with the extra food in addition to breakfast,chocolates,biscuits and nuts. We went to the pub next door for dinner,we did book with it being a Friday night and was perfect as just a stones throw away. The bed was really comfy and the lounge area nice and cosy,we will definitely come again if in the area. We also met one of the owners when we checked in who was really friendly and available if we needed anything. The location was lovely as were the grounds,even went to see the chickens at the field

Lovely accommodation with excellent range of complimentary food items in the room. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All soaps etc were environmentally friendly which is lovely.The owners were friendly and helpful.

A beautifully presented property.  Kerry was on hand to great us on arrival and showed us our room.It was very well appointed.  The bed was very comfortable and we slept well.  Included in our room rate was a breakfast hamper with local bread, fruit and yoghurt and cereals.  A lovely touch.  Outside there are pretty gardens for guest use.

Home Farm & Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The room was spacious with everything we needed, including a kitchen area with kettle, microwave, toaster & a very well supplied fridge!  There was a corner sofa, coffee table & TV at one end and a small breakfast table with high stools in the centre and the comfortable king size bed at the other end.
The continental breakfast contained everything we could need, plus lots that we didn’t use. (Cereals, porridge sachets, a loaf of bread, jars of jam, honey & marmalade & biscuits & peanuts). In the fridge were yoghurts, fresh milk, fresh fruit, orange juice & butter as well as a carafe of chilled water. All very well thought out.
The bathroom was lovely and all toiletries were from a sustainable company in refillable containers.
There’s a lovely garden area with table & chairs which, unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to enjoy. 
Kerry & Richard were the perfect hosts & nothing was too much trouble. 
We will definitely be returning.

Fantastic location and very welcoming upon arrival. The rooms are huge and very well equipped. The grounds are stunning and I enjoyed a relaxing glass of wine in the garden to relax after a busy work day.

Beautiful room

A lovely place to stay in South Yorkshire

We stayed at Home Farm and Lodge for one night only, but we'd love to return for longer when we have the time. 

Everything you could need was provided in a relatively small space.  That didn't mean that it was cramped or uncomfortable!  The room was stylishly laid out with a separate, very comfy, seating area.  Everything was spotlessly clean!  I'm a clean freak and was very happy with the standard!   The bed was comfortable, with good quality bedding.  The bathroom was spacious with copious hot water.  There was also a small, well equipped kitchen area.  

Overall a very comfortable stop.

Clean and comfortable overnight stop

On arrival we was welcomed by Richard who made us feel welcome straight away. We was given room 6 which was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean & beautifully decorated. Soon afterwards Kerry came & introduced herself, what a lovely couple they are. The rooms are in a lovely peaceful setting, ideal for relaxing or even to travel the short drive into Bawtry. We would highly recommended you check this place out

Little gem

What a wonderful stay we had at Home Farm, the owners were lovely and took time to make sure everything was perfect, which it was. The beautiful spacious rooms were very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean, we wanted for nothing. There was a very good selection of cereals, pastries, fruit, yogurts, tea, coffee, orange juice, bread and milk for our continental breakfast. The grounds were beautifully kept, manicured lawns, with lovely flower beds. 

What an absolute gem this place is and I can not recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Richard and Kerry.

Beautiful, spotlessly clean, an absolute gem

Despite living close by we like to enjoy the odd night out around Bawtry (few drinks and then onto one of the great restaurants the town has to offer).  For years we would stay in the Crown Hotel.  And then a friend recommended Home Lodge Farm, just a couple of miles out in the little village of Austerfield.  We decided to give it a try and, wow, so glad we did.  It is an absolute hidden gem.  The rooms are way beyond anything you'd get in anything bar a real luxury hotel.  And the little attention to detail (eco washing products, fresh fruit, bread, preserves and cereals, etc) set the place apart.  If you visit then make time to potter in the gardens.  You'll feel your stress levels fade away.  

Spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable.  The owners (Kerry and Richard) are genuine, warm hosts who seem to honestly appreciate your custom.  

We cannot recommend highly enough.  

A Hidden Gem Just Outside of Bawtry

Booked three of the lodges as we were attending a family wedding at Bawtry Hall and did not want the busyness of a hotel.  The lodges were clean, comfortable, well appointed and set in beautiful gardens where we were able to host a pre-wedding gathering. The breakfast packs were amazing with everything we could possible want and Kerry and Richard went out their way to ensure we had a lovely stay.    The business has a silver Green (eco) award and the garden a wildlife award making it ideal for those who care for the environment.  This is how self-catering should be done.
