Frome Hotel

After reading some previous reviews after booking 2 nights in the hotel I was a bit dubious about what we would find on arrival! I needn’t have worried. The hotel staff at check in were so accommodating and lovely. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable - yes, it was a bit of a walk up a few long corridors to get there but if you have mobility issues with this there are lower floors- I would state this on booking. On arrival to the room the staff had drawn the curtains, opened the windows (they only open slightly but that is due to health and safety as it was first floor room), there was a fan provided which was running - they really tried to cool it down as much as possible.. they had put sheets on the bed instead of a quilt - the quilts were still available in the wardrobe but we definitely didn’t need them. The nights were warm but manageable with the fan on. We had breakfast in the adjacent Beefeater and the manager who was really accommodating fitted us in for food on the first night. The food was lovely with plenty of choice at breakfast. The hotel is in a good position for surrounding attractions. We visited Bath and Longleat. It was great for what we needed.
