As usual we had a great stay. The staff are great in both the restaurant and the Hotel. 
We stay here every few months, quick check in, rooms are spotless, friendly helpful staff, free parking, restaurant next door or we drive in to Dumfries town. Some lovely places to eat along the cost/ estuary. Definitely be back soon.

Very friendly check in staff and the usual excellent night's sleep I've come to expect from Premier Inn.
This is a big hotel so the breakfast was buffet style rather than cooked to order which I've had (& much preferred) at other Premier Inns.

My only gripe was the lack of orange juice at the breakfast buffet, replaced by something called 'Tropical Juice'. Disappointing but let's be honest it's a 1st World problem eh? 

Would I go back to the Premier Inn at Dumfries? Absolutely. Would I have the cooked breakfast next time? Probably not.

The staff and breakfast were first class! From the reception, bar staff and those on breakfast duties, everyone made sure you were happy and satisfied with your experience. But the BED MATTRESS is simply incredible! You can’t change these!!! It’s the best nights sleep I’d had in months, really! Thank you 🛌

Another stop over on our way home to Stranraer and first time here. We like Premier Inn hotels as they normally do what they say on the tin.Easy to find from the A75. Easy quick check in, expected the accessible room to be near reception but we had room 36 which was a long walk along two corridors. I suppose it built up an appetite for dinner. Booked for dinner and service was great . They didnt rush us and we did help by deciding what we wanted before we left the room from the menu. Previous night was Warrington and their eaterie didnt have quite the selection that this restaurant had at Dumfries. Good selection of food. I had the brocolli soup and then Chicken Tikka and added the naan at 49p. Very tasty . Hubby had the Mushrooms and they were a little dry and cripsy but he ate them. Main course was Gammon Steak was nice and moist and the eggs a bit crinkly around the edges . I like crinkly eggs , hubby not quite the same taste. It had been a long run that day and we were fed and watered, Andrew Peace Chardonnay excellent as one of our favourites. All in all the room was warm and clean and comfy bed and would definitely come back. Service in restaurant excellent. Thank you all again .

I booked into Premier Inn Dumfries as I had an early appointment in morning, so I could be rested and relaxed for my Appointment and was also a lovely treat for myself , I would definitely recommend this Premier Inn to anyone 

Lovely Premier Inn and we've stayed at many. Clean, well kept. Super friendly staff and a lovely restaurant attached too. On our list to return to when passing through, that's for sure! Thank you to all the staff!

Attending a family gathering and found this Premier Inn very convenient.  Friendly and helpful staff.  The hotel is clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced. My only gripe is about the attached restaurant "Table to Table" which charged us more than the menu price for an evening meal.  When I queried this my complaint was dismissed in silence.

The Premier Inn offering is remarkable for its consistency - a primary reason for choosing this chain in my view - but the location will, inevitably, vary in charm. Dumfries is delightful and a good base from which to visit Edinburgh.

Much better value when going out of season! A very convenient location for a journey I do frequently. Comfortable night's sleep and the room as expected. We left something behind on our last visit so it was nice to be able to thank Kishan personally for handling our mistake so well.

Excellent.

Premier Inn generally reliable - comfortable bed, but a too-thck duvet. Power shower didn't have much power 9but we were at end of a long corridor).  Staff friendly and helpful.
Associated TableTable restaurant disappointing. Menu rather heavy and stodgy - would have welcomed something lighter after a day's driving. Some staff disinterested - we asked at breakfast for an evening booking - they took details but didn't process it.

Up to the usual Premier Inn standards, nice clean room, friendly staff.  All good. Two minor points that could use improvement...  

The shower was particularly weak... But nice and hot... A better head would make a vast improvement.
Although the restaurant is a separate entity... The breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired... Just tired looking and tasting food.  It filled a hole, but that's all... 

Pleasant stay in Dumfries 

It's a premier Inn in a rural area which for it being that it is fairly modern and looked after with plenty of parking and amenities near by. My only thing would be if you need WIFI or Internet for a specific reason i.e work it would be difficult as the phone reception in the Area is poor but the in room WIFI isn't great atall. Overall good value for money for what you get.

Essentials and Basic

Convenient and good value.  Not here for business or leisure (hospital visit - extended) - looking at all available options the Premier Inn suited best.  All rooms were acceptable although last one smelled a bit ( like vacuumed with smelly hoover !). I liked the bath - but then I’m only wee.  A bigger person would probably prefer the room with a stall shower.  Bathroom fab was far too noisy in 2 of the rooms but fine in the 3rd.  Beds are very comfy - room layout and facilities - well thought out.
We had small reception issues (including being sent to wrong room) Some staff polite and professional - others not so much !  Car park became flooded (it is Dumfries!) during very heavy rain but there was still space to park.  We appreciated good sound insulation.

Practical , convenient and good value

The room was clean and comfortable, the location was convenient for our short holiday. I think the premier inn Dumfries was a good base for exploring the area. We did not use the restaurant on this occasion.

Good experience. Helpful friendly staff.clean well prepared room.request for an easy access shower full filled. As was request for ground floor room. Good location with easy access to local and main roads. Ideal stop off when travelling.
