Great place to stay! Staff incredibly helpful, rooms are very clean and comfy, food is delicious and it's quiet on an evening.

The welcome was lovely and the bar fully stocked. There was no food on the premises but good information available for nearest places to eat.

Stayed for 4 nights on a business trip.Blenheim House is a lovely small hotel in a quiet village.All the staff were happy, polite and helpful.The food was excellent.will stay again if working in the area.

Our room was in a two suite annex, the other room was occupied by my brother in law. The rooms aren't large but absolutely sound for a short stop, they are very clean, bed linen and towels were excellent quality, tea coffee and TV (if you're into that stuff) all available. It was very quiet which was appreciated. Breakfast was abundant, juice ,tea, coffee toast and a crackin' full English breakfast plus yoghurt etc etc and some fresh strawberries as a wee treat. Prices were more than reasonable, service was pitched perfectly, attentive but not intrusive. Thank you Richard, we will be back.

We stayed the night at this wonderful hotel. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much for the staff even when we didn’t notice the table that had been laid out for us for breakfast and we sat at another table. Very embarrassing for us and the staff took it in their stride. The accommodation was excellent. We had a very nice, luxurious and spacious suite. The food was fantastic. Do try the truffle oil mayonnaise, wow!!!! The food is home cooked quality, what more could you ask for and the desserts were just out of this world. Do try the Chocolate Marquis, it is devine. It is a dog friendly hotel. Our girls loved it!!!! We will be going back. I almost forgot, their selection of Gins is excellent as is their selection of ales.

Just the ticket

Have recently stayed at this Hotel, rooms are well appointed with all basics and a couple of extra touches such has bottled water available to dispense they are very clean and tidy with compact but usable bathroom. Food in the restaurant is a real pleasure with fresh tasting ingredients and a good menu with all pub classics and extras. There is a very well stocked bar area top quality gin selection with seating prices are good for the area. The land lady is a very bubbly lady with such a friendly welcoming demeanour, welcoming all guest as if they were old friend, was really good to see that she was very approachable and that she always gave customers the time that they wanted to answer question or give advice. No questions was to hard to stupid. Overall a great location, great food clean and welcoming venue for all. Cannot wait to revisit!

Friendly and Welcoming atmosphere 

My wife and I booked for 2 nights as my family were all coming to celebrate my 70th birthday on the Sunday all having Sunday lunch. The food was very nice, I don't think there was one complaint and considering there were 14 of us I think that's brilliant. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. They even upgraded our room at no extra cost for the Sunday night. 
There is a very good selection of drinks behind the bar. My wife was struggling to choose which gin she would like haha.
The only downside was that the WiFi would only work in the bar area and our network (Vodafone) hardly worked anywhere in the hotel. That wouldn't put me off going again.
The Irish coffee made up for it 😊

Excellent Service 

Great little public house / inn that once was a school house. The one downside was the parking. Only about 6 parking places and it only takes a few idiots inconsiderate parking to knock that down to 4. The only option is to park in the street. The room the Thomas Gerrard Suite was very large and the bathroom was well appointed, large double bath and separate shower.The TV was a 40" flat screen wall mounted. The food in the restaurant was top notch and reasonably priced and the breakfast in the morning good quality and plentiful. The staff were all friendly and attentive.


Could have stayed longer

Spent a lovely 3 nights at Blenheim House in the quirky suite. It was delightful. Tom & Dale & the rest of the staff were
Great. Nothing was a problem. The breakfasts were excellent & the meal for our 30 plus guests was very good. Would 
recommend Blenheim House & certainly wouldn't hesitate in staying there again. Also the price was reasonable. All our party were very happy with the venue & the overall experience. 

Family party

This was a last minute booking, but boy was it a good one. The guest rooms sat above a pub/restaurant, which was super convenient and also very unobtrusive. There is a separate entrance for residents as well, which is awesome. 

On arrival, we were greeted warmly and personally shown to our room. The room was amazing. It was huge, with a seating/dressing area, a further sofa, huge bed and wonderful bathroom. It was well stocked with tea, coffee etc. 

 I had requested a travel cot for my little girl, who is 2. Although she no longer sleeps in a cot, it was easier than trudging a put up bed with us. The owner had not only had the travel cot put up, but also a z bed- as he wasn’t sure what we would prefer. I thought this was really thoughtful and much welcomed! 

Breakfast was lovely. A selection of cereals and pastries, as well as a range of hot food cooked to order. Our table was already set up for us, including high chair, when we got down.

Honestly can’t fault this place and will most certainly visit again!
