Carpenters Arms Inn

My wife and I decided to visit West Wales for the first time, upon seeing the good weather forecast sat the end of April/early May. I did the routine search for good accommodation. I sought a bed&breakfast in the Cardigan area to be used as a base whilst visiting the West Welsh coast. We settled for The Flambards Hotel situated in Llechryd, Cardigan. The welcome from the owners was perfect and we were lodged in a spacious double bedroom with en-suite facilities. The place was immaculate and it was very comfortable. Mac, the owner runs a tight ship and we were well briefed about the hotel, room, breakfast and nearby attractions. One particular aspect was its acceptance of my American Express card which other establishments refuse. Even though The Flambards is a hotel, yet it doesn’t have a bar nor served other meal bar breakfast As for breakfast, the order form is done the night before, and a time stipulated. We were served a copious breakfast with eggs cooked exactly as ordered. The WiFi was excellent We certainly will stay there again when we revisit West Wales
