The Talbot Inn

Our stay at the Talbot Inn was fantastic. Ann & David were very friendly and accommodating from the minute we arrived. 

Rooms are stylish and clean. Parking is ideal too. The location is also a short walk from Cirencester town centre which is our favourite part of the Cotswolds. 

This hotel ticked all the boxes and we will definitely be returning.

Very comfortable cottage style accommodation in the grounds of a traditional pub.

Lovely old Inn. Anne and David are great hosts.  Very pleasant and helpful. Comfy beds , clean rooms and the centre of town just a short walk away, cooked  breakfasts were great, so much choice of food. Pretty villages to visit.  Scenery beautiful.   Had a great time

Very much enjoyed my stay at The Talbot Inn. Friendly and fun hosts, clean room with comfy bed, meals available in ambient lounge. Good location for bus station, shopping and walking to nearby parks. Highly recommend.

Recently stayed here for a lovely weekend with friends. Amazing location, just a couple of minutes away from town. Such a beautiful place to see at Christmas time. Ann and David were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us.

Esther and I had a wonderful stay here at the Talbot Inn. Ann was so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely room ,clean,comfortable, quiet.  What more could you ask for . Parking was great . Location fantastic few minutes walk into town . Definitely stay here again . 

Good location for exploring the Cotswold. As anticipated from the pictures, the room was small, but adequate. The adjoining pub provided a nice place to socialize. Owners David and Ann were very accommodating.

Lovely Winter Stay

Amazing weekend trip

Despite finding the room and especially bathroom (room 207) to be small, the room was comfortable and welcoming.

Breakfast in the bar area was a delight. I found it enjoyable to talk cricket with the huge cricket enthusiast owners.

Parking is a welcome bonus.

The Wi-Fi didn't reach this room.

Altogether a memorable trip in a very attractive inn.

Pleasant relaxing stay

My wife and I stayed in the Delux Room for two nights. Ann and David were very accomodating with our travel arrangements and we had a lovely stay. The Inn is ideally located for an easy walk in Cirencester centre and made a great location for exploring other parts of the Cotswolds. Thorougky recommend staying here.

Two night stay

We were highly impressed with this B&B connected to the Talbot Inn (and pub) at 14 Victoria Street. It was easy to park our car close to our room and the bedroom fitted our requirements.

The breakfast was splendid. 

Don't expect anything palatial; the room wasn't but it was certainly adequate.

The hosts are friendly and this helps a lot too.

What a wonderful base for exploring the Cotswolds. David and Ann make you feel so welcome in their cozy location with the Hay Loft being a gem for a welcome sleep.
Ann's breakfasts are splendid and she makes sure that you are all set up for a busy day's touring or walking.
If you want a peaceful place to have a rest then head here.

Spring break

just returned home after two nights, the room was clean and had the usual tea coffee and toiletries, the hosts were friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good, fresh fruit salad, yogurts, cereals, pastries and all the usual hot stuff (no hash browns🤣) it’s a 2 minute walk to town, only negative is the shower was a bit of a dribble. But I would book again.

GREAT BREAKFAST

We fall more in love with this pub year after year.
We were a little apprehensive travelling after covid but the owners were very reassuring and still offer a great, safe and friendly service. The breakfast is still a traditional English fry up sourced locally. ❤️They take requests and minimise the use of self serve and menus to create a safe space.
We came back at 7 and had a pint sitting under the glow of the warm flamingo fairy lights out front which was soo lovely. 
The rooms were rustic and comfy and had everything we needed (thank you for the extra bits guys).

We stayed for a week away in the cotswolds, the talbot inn was a cosy welcoming place. The owners literally will do anything for you and have a great sense of humour, very personable and lovely people. Food was nice,  lots of options for breakfast and room was cosy and clean. Particularly nice to have own private access to room (front door to the room is accessed straight from small carpark, not going through the pub and so coming back late or leaving early is easy) with a cosy searing area and fairy lights outside.

Well what can I say about The Talbot Inn apart from the name Talbot reminds me of old rusty British cars🤣

When we got to our room obviously it had been cleaned and it looks well maintained. Our room was cosy to stay in and has a cottage feel to it, obviously it's not a cottage.

The owner is an extremely nice gentleman with a good sense of humour (he needed it with one of my responses) 🙃

I would gladly stay here again and I would definitely recommend The Talbot Inn to family and friends thinking about staying in Cirencester.
