Great experienced hack out with Belinda. 

Enjoyed a few lovely canters and good amount of trotting.

Safe forward going horses.  Lovely scenery (despite the awful weather).  

Stables were organised and welcoming.  Tack in good condition etc.

Booked over the phone.

My friend had been hacking with Willowbrook before and remembered it was good so we came here together today for an hour's hack into the South Downs. I say "hour" but it was closer to an hour and a half! 

The staff were friendly and helpful and Lisa, our guide, was brilliant. I was able to borrow a hat, crop, hi-vis and boots and rode the adorable Teddy who wasn't particularly keen to leave the warmth of his stable but once he was out on the bridleways, he was one very happy boy! 

No complaints but I do agree with a previous reviewer that there doesn't appear to be a proper reception area as such, not that it really mattered. 

I am definitely hoping to ride here again. We already have a date in the diary. I hope we can do a two hour hack at some point! Would recommend this place for beginners and experienced riders alike.

A friend and I went out for a 2-hour hack with Laura (which was actually about 2 1/2 hours), and we had a great time. The horses were perfect for this type of ride - calm and safe, but with plenty of energy for nice trots and canters. The horses are beautifully looked after - I'm very tall, but was completely comfortable on Cooga, a nice tall mare. Laura was really fun to ride with - she always checked to make sure my friend and I were ready to canter. She gave us clear instructions at the start of the ride, and was very friendly and great to chat to the whole time. 
It was a great way to spend a glorious Sunday afternoon. I have no complaints.

We loved our stay at the Willowbrook riding centre. The rooms were perfect, the views amazing and the owners were friendly. Every morning we had a delicious fry up. 100% recommend this B&B if you are planning to stay in the area. It’s a short drive from Bosham which is a hidden gem. 

I have recently started riding again and was given vouchers for lessons at Willowbrook. They are so friendly and welcoming! The paperwork didn’t take too long to fill in and to begin with I borrowed a hat and crop. Everyone here made me feel at ease and I was reassured that lessons would go at the pace I felt comfortable with. I haven’t looked back! The lessons can be 1:1 or groups (depending on what suits you) and all feedback is personal and constructive. I feel so much more confident! 

I have also been on a couple of hacks with them and they have been brilliant. The bridle paths are scenic and they cater for all different abilities (and weather!). I took a friend who hadn’t been riding for a while and Kerry was wonderful at helping her before we set off. They provided her with boots, hat and crop. Laura was brilliant on the hack, checking we were ok and comfortable. 

I can’t recommend them enough! They really care for their horses whilst also ensuring you have the best possible experience!

Booked a 2 hour hack as a birthday treat for my mum.
We arrived and a young chap gave us the paperwork to fill in- we borrowed their boots, hats, crops and riding vests.

I was allocated Duchess who was a lovely, sweet girl. The hack was fab, the area is fantastic with plenty of bridleways and great tracks. (as long as you've got your wits about you for low branches!) During one of the canter's we were joined by a Buzzard flying through the trees with us- amazing. Jo was great in checking everyone was okay and was very friendly. The hack actually lasted nearly 3 hours so when we got back we were hastily removed so the horses could be fed!

From reading previous reviews I would agree a little with their customer service and say that could be improved on a touch- There doesn't appear to be any 'reception/office' role to answer phone, sign people in, give them kit and 'look after them' as such. Apart from that, great experience and would recommend.

My sister and I chose to do the hour long hack. The lady who greeted us on arrival was exceptionally rude, made us feel very unwelcome really tainted the experience. The hats for use were very old and below standard. 
However our guide for the hack, Lisa, was really lovely which was a relief! Parts of the hack were pleasant countryside but other parts, including crossing a motorway bridge and riding alongside MOD land, was not as scenic as we'd thought from the website.

Very rude staff

Our daughter hurt her back,  we gave plenty of notice to cancel a private lesson (£45) when she was better we booked another lesson but had to cancel because a COVID quarantine stopped her going a second time.When I tried to rebook I was told we had to pay again! No one has ever said about paying again after a second cancellation?? Also booked a hack for two (£70) in July but had to cancel because of Covid. Just tried to rebook, asked why it took so long to rebook and  was told I had to pay again. What a rip off !  That was a birthday present for my daughter and her friend. Christine the owner said “well it’s not my fault you had to cancel” !  How rude - She was definitely not in a queue  for manners!  Just as well she is closing the stables down. But on a good note that means Kerry the instructor who is great and a good teacher will find another job that I’m sure she will be greatly appreciated in.
Avoid Willowbrook stables unless you don’t mind giving your money away to a rude woman who should of sold her stables a long time ago.
