My partner and I went to a wedding near to Trents pub and we had a great stay. The staff were very helpful, particularly Angela and the bar manager, they allowed us to check in early and sorted our bags for us, which received some stress! We then returned very late to the pub to go to bed, and the staff were still great! The room itself was spacious and very comfortable, it’s just what we needed. Thanks very much!

Stayed 2 nights for my wife's birthday and could not have chosen better. Our room (3) was  attractive, comfortable and cosy. More than ample for our stay. the ensuite was spacious and had a large walk in shower. Saw no evidence of the criticisms in previous reviews so an excellent refurb has been completed. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and everything functioned as it should. Though at the front, our room was quiet at all times. Breakfast was amazing, cooked to order, huge and delicious. We were stuffed after. All the staff could not be more helpful and cheerful, especially Sarah, who never stops working and arranged a surprise birthday treat for my wife. Thank you.

Lovely visit to Trent’s the other week! Menu is amazing, drinks nice and cold during the heatwave and Jay was an amazing host. Definitely be back, hopefully I can book a room above the pub and stay for a few days!!

We stayed one night midweek and it was very good value for money. The staff were really efficient and really friendly. They made us feel very welcome. Rooms were clean, and supplied with tea & coffee, fridge,hairdryer and ironing board. Breakfast was great too.

Needed a hotel close to the Theatre, just for the one night. This was perfect. The female in charge of hotel issues was superb. The room was extremely clean and surprising quiet considering it overlooked the high street. The en suite was also fantastic. Breakfast was included and the food excellent. A good ‘small hotel’ in a very good location. Don’t let the idea that’s it’s above the pub put you off at all.

Great choice of food and drinks, lively atmosphere and friendly staff. Service was quick and food tasty with good portion size- we loved the nachos and bao buns. Had a great night here with friends- especially as they had a dj in the beer garden. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Having visited for the first time we were delighted with the experience,  definable worth a visit fir a drink or a meal. Food was well cooked and delicious.  We'll definitely return with friends again soon

We booked for 2 nights as we planned an evening at Goodwood and weekend break in Chichester. The place is central which is what we wanted so  be prepared for inner city noises and pay for parking and older historic buildings. The staff were very welcoming and professional throughout our stay and made us feel comfortable the place has a laid back atmosphere and entertainment on a Saturday afternoon in the courtyard garden with a local DJ which was a lovely surprise. Rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast was superb and you were looked after, what more can you ask for? Was informed management may be changing soon, if this is the case the new manager will hopefully not change anything and is very lucky to be working with such friendly and competent staff.

I went somewhere else first who didn’t even bother to come and wipe down table let alone take order 
Happened on this place had already upside space friendly efficient staff . Got a nice feel about it . Would go back there . I note they have a piano there too so bonus !

Had a very helpful and friendly gentleman called Adrian deal with our evening. He made us feel very comfortable and was funny to boot. 
 Extremely welcoming and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend this pub. Great location and lots of seating areas.

Fun Night with Friends

Excellent experience staying here

Me and my dad visited this lovely town this morning, we rushed and forgot where we’d parked stupidly.  We searched for 2+ hours before our phones died. In desperation we then entered Trent’s. Treated so well, by a young lady ‘Corrie’. Who should be credited for her excellence and attentiveness to a situation we faced today. Could not praise her enough and would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Trent’s/Corrie made our visit to Chichester.

Visited Trents recently with my partner and family, and its been a few months since I last visited, was welcomed by friendly staff who were polite and genuinely seemed please to serve us through our visit. The food was amazing and even better than I remembered from my last visit, the only problem I had was choosing what to order! The steak pie was amazing! Such great quality for such a good price. Such a lovely pub with a great atmosphere, great for a casual dinner or a special occasion for sure.

Fantastic Food and Great Service

We visited Trents recently to celebrate our Grandfathers 85th Birthday. We were welcomed nicely by Simon during the busy period it seeemed. We were sat down and provided with menus on the tables as well as our first round of drinks. The music was tasteful and not too loud, the temperature inside was perfect and the speed of service was brilliant. The food arrived and we couldn't have been happier with it. Not a single issue, tasty and good quality and at a reasonable price for the area. We will definitely be in again to experience the garden this time!

Meet up with a fantastic friend @Trents. 
The pub was very welcoming, top notch clean and  the team very accomodating and friendly. 
Was there for a good few hours and have to say, besides my happiness, everyone visiting left with a smile and looking like they had a great time. The  Beer garden is a real sun trap and worth a cocktail or two in the sun. Look forward to my next visit.

Nice room and great shower but noisey at night with a bus stop outside the room.  Best get a room away from the front. The breakfast was really good and the staff were really helpful.  

We would return (if we can get a room away from the front).
