OYO New Inn Hotel

This hotel was easy to find. When we arrived the staff were amazing and helpful. We had one problem with the room because it didn’t have enough beds, however the hotel manager was so helpful and sorted it out straight away. The food was nice and most importantly the beer was amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay here.  Definitely go back.

Fantastic place to stay. We used it as a base to visit the lakes and dales for a couple of days. Hotel/pub was in a lovely little village. We were in the Superior room which had a lovely view overlooking the river. Room itself was big with a nice comfortable double bed. Cleanliness was ok, room had clearly been cleaned however just a few marks on the wall. This didn't matter too much or affect our stay. Bathroom was a good size and clean. Could have done with some toiletries (no shower gel provided). Breakfast was fabulous - pastries, cereals and full English and great quality!! We ate in the bar one of the evenings, food was good and reasonably priced. Parking was free. Staff were nice, in particular Dave who was great and couldn't be more helpful!!! We will definitely return as there is so much more to explore in the area and would 100% choose The New Inn as our base.

Very friendly welcome. Really good room with hospitality tray and very clean bathroom.Good meal and selection of drinks.We thought continental breakfast was included so were delighted to be offerd a full cooked feast.

The staff was so accommodating towards us and very kind. Breakfast was amazing! Room was very clean and cosy. Would 100% recommend to a friend.

The standard of the cuisine was far better than most, and the restaurant prices reasonable. I just wish you got a full pint of beer (£5) without asking twice. Despite being adjacent a road, traffic noise was not a problem, and I slept with the window open. The area is Yorkshire at it’s best.

Weather was really good for October we had 2 small dogs and the hotel were very accommodating  the food menu was really good in the evening and they even gave us a throw for the two little dogs to lie on instead of the floor boards our stay  included breakfast which was excellent both the manager the afternoon before and the other manager at breakfast were really good room clean and nicely decorated tea and coffee and water given lovely stay with car parking free

Excellent last minute booking that was close to my route South with work. Incredible value and truly exceptional food. The new Michelin star chef turns out great food. Nothing was a problem especially as I turned up to breakfast 30 mins early as I had an early start and was still offered a bacon or sausage bap to go. Cheers all will definitely be back very soon.

Stayed for one night in room 20 which is a family room. The room was spacious and well equipped with tea/coffee facilities, USB charging, plenty of sockets, large bath and roomy shower. It is also well laid out for a family room with 2 separate areas. The double bed for the grown ups was good, although the sheet could have been a little bigger as it kept coming off and wouldn’t tuck back around. But the 2 single beds were disappointing, the mattresses were thin and my daughter could feel every spring in the mattress, luckily it was just me and her in the room so we used the duvet from the second bed to make the one bed more comfortable. Just as we were getting ready to check out I bent down to tie my shoe and noticed a beer can under the bed, along with lots of dust so it didn’t seem there had been a thorough clean. However, the bathroom and elsewhere was clean. Breakfast was good, it isn’t a full breakfast but there’s sausage and bacon available for sandwiches and plenty of ‘continental’ options. The croissants were delicious.Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all for what we paid the room was spacious and well equipped with a good breakfast - if the mattresses on the single beds were replaced we would consider staying again. We have family in the area so visit frequently but this was our first stay at New Inn.

Family room cost us 121 for a night with breakfast included for 3 people in the 6 weeks hols, so decent value for nowadays.Plenty of parking, maybe a tad understaffed, but lots of places struggle with that I reckon.We had burgers for evening meal which were nice with generous portions.A little bit dog eared here and there but not to a fault.We had a pleasant peaceful night's rest and the breakfast was decent with full English and cereal/croissant options available.Clapham was nice but not to Much to see and do.

The room we had was big and had plenty of drawer space and wardrobe. The bathroom was massive but if you have short legs beware as the bath is very deep so getting out could be a problem. The window opened but not a lot and had quite afew cobwebs in the window but it’s an old building so be prepared. Everything else was spotless. We didn’t have teabags in the room it was all coffee and hot chocolate sachets. Plenty of biscuits though. Good food and breakfast excellent.

We really enjoyed our one-night stay at the inn.  We managed to snag an amazing deal at half the usual rate.  Our 2-bedroom room was very clean - only a couple of snags were experienced.  The first sleeping area had no bedside lighting and the second had no accessible mains supply!  The breakfast included was excellent.  The setting for the inn is fantastic - lovely area to walk around.

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff in a great quiet location. The food was fantastic and the portions were huge. The staff really looked after us. They had a good selection of beers and other drinks. Really nice room with good facilities.Only downside was they don’t open until 3pm, we arrived early so it would have been nice to know beforehand although it didn’t spoil the stay.

Professional and friendly from start to finish, food was amazing and plentiful, large choice of breakfast from continental to full English, check in easy and quick, rooms very spacious and comfy with an amazing view of the stream, plenty of onsite parking, within walking distance to the caves, amazing and will definitely stay again.
