Crossroads House

We stayed here whilst attending a wedding at a local venue. The room was clean, warm and comfortable, the shower was great. Julie was warm and welcoming and really helpful, even giving us a lift to collect our car the next day!  The breakfast was delicious. If we return to this area, we will definitely book here again!

Great stop off hotel for heading north or south on the motorway. Our room was clean and well appointed and great value for money. We made arrangements with the owner to get access after midnight that all worked well. Unfortunately we had to leave early so didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast.

Definitely recommend Crossroads - ideal for a stop over on the way to Scotland. Julie and Kerry were really friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Shower was great abd the room was clean. Free parking and a comfy bed - a great place to stay!

Most welcoming, cosy and comfortable after a long drive down from Scotland. Single room was a very good size, my dog was allowed in the room with me, bed was comfy and warm.
Breakfast very good the next morning , didn't have the big breakfast but husband had scrambled eggs and they looked very fluffy.
Julie even made us a meal at their pub The Greyhound although it wasn't food night - this was very tasty and all homemade.

Wonderful stay. The family room is perfect, with comfy beds and large enough for 4 people. The breakfast was lovely and we couldn't have asked for more. Don't forget to have a look at the Roman well, it's absolutely amazing. Thank you Kerry and Alistair 

Lovely stay at the Crossroads. Julie was welcoming and the room was spotless. The beds were comfy, the shower was hot and powerful. We also visited The Greyhound pub down the road which is owned by the same people and had a lovely evening meal with friendly service. 
The breakfast at the Crossroads was top notch, a very high standad. We will definitely stay again. 

Can not recommend this B&B enough. Great hosts very warm and welcoming. Bedroom and bathroom was very clean everything you need is in there. Great little touches with milk bottles and water available in the fridge. Well worth its price and the breakfast was very tasty! Would 100% be back. 

What a wonderful find! We needed to break our journey up the M6 to Scotland and I chose this b & b. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable! However it’s the breakfast and the host that needs the big shout out!!
I follow the Keto way of eating so I explained what I needed for breakfast to Julie, the host, and I got bacon and 3 eggs fried in butter for my breakfast!! My stepdad had bacon, Cumberland sausage, black pudding, a fried egg and mushrooms! 
We were both full to satiety when the plates were empty!!

I stayed here for a night with my two dogs for a local event, it's in a very convenient location just off the M6. But you cannot hear the motorway which is brilliant. 

Julie is a wonderful host, the room was clean and well decorated. And the breakfast was lovely! 

I'll be staying again

We’ve stayed here two years running as an overnight on our way to Scotland. Julie is a great host and we had a decent sized family room. Very easy going vibe and terrific breakfast. Easy to find and close to M6. Julie runs the Greyhound pub too 10 mins away and can feed you too. Also dog friendly!

Lovely Little Place

A gem near the M6

We arrived and were welcomed by two lovely  friendly dogs. We were made to feel at ease and that nothing was any bother. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was something else. Generous amount and home cooked. Kept us full until tea time. A good start to the day. 
Would certainly visit again and recommend to one and all.

Hidden paradise.

My husband, Granddaughter and myself had an overnight stay in March.  I will definitely be booking in again. Julie the proprietor was so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean and  had beautiful views over the countryside. There is a cozy lounge with a log burner, Netflix and a few games for the younger ones to play. To top it all an excellent full English Breakfast.

Weekend visit

One of the best places I've stayed. Host does everything she can to make sure you have a great stay and is relaxed and friendly. Lovely room and decor, immaculately clean, really comfy beds and excellent breakfast. Tea/ coffee making facilities in room and a mini fridge. Dog and child friendly and they also have an electric vehicle charging point. Highly recommended!
