Lots Cottage and Tina are the best. We were in Scotland for two weeks and at Lots Cottage for two days - it was the most welcoming place of all the places we went! The breakfast was AMAZING and I still dream of it.
Go there. You will get your money’s worth and more. 


Charming period home with beautiful furnishings, friendly and helpful hosts, close to great walking trails and beautiful scenery. Tina was great with local suggestions and cooked a delicious breakfast.

From the owner overhearing us being turned away from another full b&b, to our delicious breakfast, The Lots could not be more accommodating and welcoming.

We only contacted Tina early evening on the day of our arrival when our previous plans fell through. Tina welcomed us warmly and our large king size bedroom was a tranquil haven after a long journey. Our room was dual
aspect overlooking the pretty gardens to the hills beyond. There were tea making facilities in the room accompanied by some lovely home made shortbread. The bed was very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We opted for the full Scottish breakfast, all of which was cooked perfectly. Plenty of breakfast choices for those who prefer something lighter. Lots of home made goodies including sauces, bread and jams. Finally , just before our departure we bought some very lovely homemade greetings cards from our great host. We will be back!!

Lovely decor in rooms.Tina was a lovely host and went out of her way to help you.Homemade shortbread to have with a cup of tea on Arrival.Breakfasts were fab.Plenty of choices.Extra touches with homemade Jams,Marmalade and Soda bread.Will recommend to family and friends.

We stayed here for six days. This is the second time we have stayed here. The room is large, comfortable bed, hosts are very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.  Could write a review on just the breakfast it’s that good. Excellent central location for both the east and west coasts. If you come here once you will come back.
