Very comfy bed, excellent food in restaurant and top notch breakfast. Will definitely book again if working in the area.

An overnight stay for a family visit so didn’t eat a meal but there was a lovely busy restaurant, our room was clean, warm and quiet with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious would stay again.

All the staff were very friendly, a lovely room and great food.

Had excellent stay in The Bull at Woolpit.  Great selection of breakfast options, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, full english small and large, toast, coffee and tea. The service was fantastic.  Nothing was too much trouble.   Comfortable room with view over Woolpit roofs and garden.  Evening meal was excellent value for money and superbly cooked.  We ate in the restaurant every evening.   The owners and the staff work extremely well together. We will definitely be returning soon.

Lovely village pub/restaurant.Great service from front of house manager. Young man, very friendly and welcoming. Lovely evening meal, fair prices, fresh vegetables. Room clean, warm and cosy. Good shower and bathroom facilities. Outside, Iron stairs to room so just be aware. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay with excellent fresh food.

We stayed 2 nights at the Bull Inn as a base for our visit to the nearby area. We slept there and had breakfast but no other meals (we arrived late one evening, were out all day until late the next day and left after breakfast the following day. Service throughout was friendly and polite; the room (one of several in an annex in the garden) was clean, fresh and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The gardens around the pub were beautifully maintained and parking was easy. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we were going to be in the area.

Very quiet village, full of character. Single room was in an annexe. Pub was closed for one day of my two night stay, so very quiet. There was a secluded outside seating area.The room was a good size. Toilet could have been cleaner and the shower entrance was a tight squeeze!!Wasn't aware there was no daily room service, but was asked if I needed anything instead.Staff were 👍  and so to breakfast.Would come again.

Quiet spot

Really lovely place to stay. They have taken every effort to ensure comfort, quality and service.  The room was well designed, good quality linen and towels, and sited in a quiet garden ensuring a good night's sleep.  The food was excellent, really good breakfast, and all staff that we met were great.Will definitely be going back soon thanks

Absolute gem

Very good value for money, enjoyable stay and a convenient location. Staff also friendly, would certainly stay again and happy to recommend.Only downside for me was the mattress was too soft and made my back ache, could of been a bit firmer.Also didn’t understand why I was given one and a half slices of toast for breakfast, what happened to the other half!! Although I don’t doubt the gentleman on breakfast duty would of provided more if I had asked.

Very enjoyable 1 night stay

I would absolutely stay here again. A lovely quiet place with spacious room that is decorated very well including the bathroom that is fitted out very well to high standard. The bed is super comfortable and I had a great sleep. The full English was delicious and reassuringly hot when brought to the table.

Handy spot, little out of the way. There's another Bull Inn within the borough of Bury St Edmunds close to the air force bases that I thought I was booking, so beware if you're visiting military family.
