Stayed for one night before travelling from Stansted the following day.
Receptionist helpful friendly and polite. 
Room was large, the biggest we have used at a PI, Travelodge etc, and felt like an old family room. It was a tad dated but had been well maintained and was perfectly adequate for our one night stay. 
Will use again

Amazing stay! 
Max the night shift, was very helpful as we arrived very late at night with a tiny baby, he checked us in fast and efficient. 
The room was perfectly settled for a family with a baby( a cot was besides a double bed).
The room and bathroom were spotless,  this is a real comliment to the housekeepers.
The hotel itself situated in perfect spot. It's around  1 minute to walk to COOP petrol station which has 24/7 shop with food and all essentials needs.

Fantastic hotel. Staff are lovely, breakfast was superb, room was very clean, parking was easy and our room was perfectly setup for our young family when we arrived. Beds were comfortable and all the family felt safe. Great location for nearby attractions in the area, including Colchester Zoo. Thank you.

Came to visit family and stayed a few days, nothing was to much trouble and can’t fault the staff, everyone was lovely, had a lovely note to welcome me with some chocolate and a bottle of water, would definitely recommend friends or family staying and will definitely be back

Amazing stay, couldn’t fault this hotel at all. The staff went an extra mile during my stay, one in particular Amanda. Amanda serviced my room to a great standard and even left some chocolate for us too. Really appreciated it. Would definitely stay here again

Arriving at our booked stay was extremely pleasant. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Beautifully clean and well presented. The rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Always happy to return to Premier Inns

Comfortable mattress and pillows, love that they have black out curtains. Very friendly staff, who offered to keep our key cards safe while we were out on a staff night out. Only slight issue was fumes from painting as hotel staircase was being renovated.

Lady on reception was amazing sorted me out with a room at the last minute. I was given a quiet room which was great .
I would recommend staying here and the bed was amazing!
The breakfast was good also.

We were a party of 8 across 3 separate rooms. All rooms were spacious and clean. All staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We had a great base for 2days whilst we celebrated a family wedding. The food at the adjacent brewers fayre was brilliant who allowed us to bring our food back to the room while the kiddies slept.

I've stayed here and once again I had lovely time, the staff were so welcoming. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, had no problems. Anytime I needed something the staff did not hesitate to lend a helping hand. Would definitely come again and would recommend it to anyone coming to the area.

Perfect for families

the staff couldn't do enough,, I was given a  spare key without the staff having to come up,, the lady come to check something in my room instead of just telling me what to do & the lady's also helped me with my travel route for my plans for new yrs day

what wasn't fab was the area,, bit in the middle of no where,, I didn't know how to turn off the fan in the bathroom that didn't let me 💤 the restraunt next door sells a soup that comes out of a tin where I thought it would be homemade,, then I couldn't get a refund ..

Great stay

Plenty of parking for cars and vans
Hotel can be noisy we found of a weekend, obviously its not the hotels fault, families were letting their feral children run riot up and down the corridor late at night. A security guard would be helpful.

No lift.

Staff are great.

Beefeater next door ~usual mediocre choice of unhealthy food….vegetables or salads would be nice!

There is a retail park 15minute walk away that has all the chains~Nando’s/ Wagamama’s etc.

A standard premier inn

the best premier inn hotel their is,stay here for bussiness all the time.amelia thomson is very friendly and nothing is to much for her.the resturant serves food all day and they are are so welcoming there aswell.the beds are always soft and comfortable and the rooms are also clean. not to forgot the car park is free! would always recoomend this hotel.

Braintree is a convenient place to stay when visiting our family in Essex.  Especially if travelling with teenagers.  As there is Braintree retail village, cinema and leisure to entertain them. The premier Inn is friendly, comfortable with good food available. Everyone in the party was comfortable  and content.
