Premier Inn Newcastle Metro Centre

My wife and I were going to the newcastle united football match and wanted to stay overnight,  the Premier inn metro centre was a perfect choice for location and value for money as we enjoyed a free breakfast offer. The staff are friendly and the room did need some redecoration but was clean and warm. Plenty of car parking too.

Lovely welcome and offer to book tables for us for dinner and/or breakfast. Receptionist was really friendly and chatted to us about our plans for the weekend. Room was clean and as expected for a Premier Inn. Convenient for visiting Metro Centre. Would recommend.

The hotel is in a great location , shops and metro centre near by ,the beds are great! the staff were really helpful and polite and really accommodating to the fact we have a autistic son and rooms were great and clean! also next door pub has great food and has a really nice small soft play for children! Will be returning!

Had a lovely quiet stay staff was helpful and very attentive beds was super comfy. Will stay again. Highly recommend. Staff was very polite. Rooms was clean and a good temperature. The women on the front desk helped us to get to the metrocenter as we was a bit lost. Which was great.

The hotel is lovely and we had a perfect stay the only too problems we had was there was no notice to tell guests about the routine fire alarm tests on mondays the receptionist said there were notices about this everywhere there was notice anyway and the only other issue is a lack of pedestrianizeation because not every tom dick or harry uses a car .

Good value and well ran premier inn, just what you expect if you've stayed in a premier inn before. Room we had was on the smaller side than others we have stayed before but it was practical for what we needed. Dont normally give massive praise to the attached restaurants like brewers Fayre etc but this one was i think the best ive been to. There was a good variety of food, a very good drins list and the food came out piping hot and plentiful. The staff were very welcoming and we enjoyed our visit.

Used this hotel a few times now to stay as its next to a venue we use for a Christmas party. Location is amazing for the metro centre and café and restaurants. Also with it being attached to a brewer's mean you can chill with a few drinks and something to eat. Also the breakfast is amazing. We were welcomed with a friendly face who couldn't do enough for us. So clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, location perfect for Gateshead area. Super clean and comfortable room, with everything you need, friendly and helpful staff. Will have no hesitation returning. Always value for money and great breakfast.

Staff friendly and helpful. We stopped here whilst on our way back from Edinburgh just to break up the journey. We had a few hours at the nearby Metro Centre. Free onsite parking which was a massive selling point. We used the attached brewers fayre for breakfast and dinner too which was also fabulous! Highly recommend a stay here.

Another great visit all staff very friendly and helpful would recommend every time. The brewers fare restaurant serves excellent food well prepared by the head chef and the staff were very professional especially Dwayne Dylan and Donna. The restaurant was very busy and they remained very calm and professional. Would definitely recommend this restaurant

We arrived after a 6 hour drive and having been let down by another hotel companies error on our booking that they couldn’t rectify.  We’d initially only booked 1 night stay but not for that night however Stevie and Jade on reception went above and beyond for us not only booking our required rooms but also giving us a huge discount plus free breakfast, even though this wasn’t their fault! I could’ve cried.  The room was comfortable, clean and exactly what we needed.  I can’t thank them enough for literally saving our holiday.  Premier inn you should be hugely proud of your staff - Thank you

We have stayed in this particular hotel quite a few times now as it is the perfect location for our yearly visit to family who live nearby.
We have never been disappointed with this hotel. The staff are lovely and friendly, the room is exactly what you would expect, its clean, warm and a good size.
Particualr mention to the lovely ladies who serve breakfast as they have been there every year and are just so lovely and friendly and can't do enough for you, they are a credit to the hotel/resturant.
